4chan is at least worth 3-5 millions BECAUSE of the userbase. But... you could steal them. Hiro is not doing a good job and now he's segregating all boards by creating a lot of useless boards. Also, outside US shit runs horrible (bad cdn)

With initial 100k you could hire a bunch of guys:
- Program better image board
- Do SEO
- Incredible shilling campaign with hired pajeets. Try to find some real world situation for PR (good stuff)
- Find ways to get people from all alternative chans as well to gather into 1, you need a classic imageboard with at least ONE change that is positive enough to be a gamechanger

With current 4chan's traffic and everything PERFECTLY well optimized (AWS running clusters, S3 for images, no old archiving) you'd still need 15-20k per month for maintenance.
Plus a lot of money for mods, at least 1 person for tech support, maybe legal advise, etc.

4chan works great because there are more boards and more users spread out. I remember using /b/ back in 2007ish when I started coming here and there were an insane amount of posters. You could not respond to people or having any sort of meaningful conversation/debate without thread dying on page 11, getting filled by other fags doing the same thing or you resorted to just lurking and maybe trying to post at 2am. Don’t change shit that works.
