Repeating this here.

"My advice is to get the hell into precious metals while you still can. Either they do Yield-Curve Control within a matter of weeks and precious metals soar to the moon, or they let the stock market keep crashing and the over-leveraged banks go into a banking crisis (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TSWnSzSES0).). [Embed] Either way the situation will cost the Fed tens of trillions and completely trash the dollar.

You also have the danger of an imminent COMEX default. Some people are talking about their fears of "deflation" now. There is no "deflation" whatsoever. We already have hyper-inflation in the correct sense of "an uncontrollable expansion of the money supply." You couldn't even get $2 billion dollars' worth of physical silver if you wanted it, and yet the money supply is now tens of trillions; that's how bad things are. So as soon as even a fraction of this hyper-inflated money supply chases the minuscule amount of metals available on the COMEX, that's it, that's the end of everything, the dollar is exposed as a fraud and you get wiped out if you're holding either bonds, dollars, or dollar-denominated assets. And this flash-crash might just be the trigger for it, quite as it nearly was in March 2020. People who talk about "deflation" are making two mistakes right now, 1) Not understanding the right meaning of the word "deflation" and 2) Confusing the paper COMEX price of PMs for the imminent real price. You might get lucky if you jump out now and try to catch a falling knife, then again you might simply wake up tomorrow and hear that the COMEX has defaulted and that gold is now $20,000 an ounce and see GDXJ soaring 5000% in the futures market like GME or a crypto scamcoin."

Then, one day in March 2020, the prime minister held a news conference to try to reassure people as to why there was no toilet paper in any shops and I sold it back to the people who mocked me for £1 a roll. Price and interest of bonds go inverse.
If i expect the yield to increase i should sell my bonds so i can buy new ones with higher interest, thus pushing the price of bonds down.
The current increase in government bond interest is likely a sign for massive sell offs.

If the expected inflation rate is higher than the interest, then i have to sell and buy back at higher interest, or i'll lose money.
This is what big money is currently doing

Yield-Curve Control means that the Fed commits to printing a hypothetically infinite amount of money to keep the yield from going beyond a certain level. It essentially means printing tens of trillions. It will make miners and metals go to the moon. The only alternative now is to let stocks keep crashing into oblivion, which would cause a banking crisis, which itself would cost tens of trillions to bail out.

They have no escape.

Deflation, like inflation, is often used incorrectly.
Inflationn means the ammount of money is increasing.
People often falsely think that inflation means that things get more expensive.
Deflation would inversely mean a reduction of available money. This can be achieved by selling assets through the fed and annulling the money they get.
An increase in purchasing power, that is often falsely called deflation, can be caused by availability of wares for example.

>how can cash ever increase in value?
Because of defaults. Most of the money in the economy is credit, or in other words debt. And everybody is leveraged to the max with debt, our whole economy depends on and revolves around credit. So when interest rates start hiking up people will need to sell their assets to get money so that they can pay their debts. When asset bubbles pop and people start selling in unison, cash becomes more desirable than depreciating assets, therefore increasing in value. This whole process of deleveraging causes debts to default, and defaults contract credit, meaning "money" just disappears because it was never there -- credit is money that will be paid back later but if you can't pay back then that credit becomes worthless.

For a better explanation, watch this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHe0bXAIuk0
Of course Central Banks cannot let this deleveraging happen, we're too leveraged. They will come in and this deflation will turn into inflation due to their money printing.

Will gold ever go up in price again?

Inflation expectations low - gold crabs or declines.

Inflation expectations high - gold crabs or declines.

I feel like gold used to be a hedge against risk assets but that has changed since it stopped being money and became just another financial asset traded on paper.

Yeah okay. They're an American company out of Vegas but they want me to wire the funds to Canada. The reviews are very good on Trustpilot. I started trying to wire the funds and immediately ran into a problem when my bank, Halifax, asked for a 'Canadian Transit Number' which the bullion dealer didn't provide in the invoice. I had to go look for it myself, but then I found that this bank has a different fucking transit number at each bank, and some have different ones on each floor of the same fucking bank. Wtf?! Fuck this nonce bullshit. Gay as fuck.
I'm gonna spend the extra 500 quid and buy it from Her Majesty's Royal Mint. Know where I stand with them.

Banks can create money out of thin air and nobody is burning cash.

>Banks can create money out of thin air and nobody is burning cash.
The odds are you got your mortgage or loan not in cash but as a deposit to your bank account. Well guess what? Your bank account balance is credit -- IOU's, they're called. It's debt. The bank owes you the money, they don't store it anywhere. So if you buy something with a CREDIT card, you are just transferring CREDIT to another account -- not cash! So if your bank defaults you will not get your money back (unless the govt has secured your deposit).
>Bank lends millennial 300k$ to buy house from boomer. Boomer have now 300k$.
Wrong -- Boomer's bank now owes the boomer $300k. If boomer's bank defaults boomer loses his deposit.

Government insures every bank customer up to certain degree (100k euros where I live). 100k per bank per customer. So if boomer spreads his wealth government will have to give his 300k$ no matter what. And that's assuming they will allow bank to default instead bailing it out or organizing merger with another bank. In practice every IOU is just cash. And cash is IOU from central bank. Boomers IOUs will have to become real one day.

Yes, in reality we will probably see a bailout like in 2008 because letting deflation run its course would be too painful and it would absolutely ruin the whole society and most individuals too.

But, if we had a free market economy and there were no Central Banks, bank defaults would come to pass among many other defaults. The government backing also wouldn't necessarily hold water in a situation like that as even governments would default. But in reality it's a question of WHEN the Fed comes and saves the day rather than if.

If 1,000 oz silver bars are selling for $200 a-piece on the open market, but the spot price is still $26, and meanwhile the COMEX is doing what they did the Hunts and saying to everybody "You can't buy silver futures contracts and take delivery any more" then that is a default in all but name only.

Banks can't renegotiate debts unless they are variable rate. Inflation rewards debtors, punishes creditors. It is entirely likely that the banks will raise interest rates or dramatically raise credit thresholds themselves to avoid being crushed by shitty margin rates on all of their loans.

depends on the terms of your contracts.
If the interest rates are fixed--and the banks don't have some small text somewhere saying they can change that during periods of extreme inflation--then you are good to keep your debts.

If your interest rates are variable, then you want to pay those shits off asap.

well they can't "call in" debts, there are terms to the loans. i guess if inflation got bad enough, they could try to incentivize people to pay off loans early at discounted rates.

i don't think someone with a 30y mortgage at 3% is going to get fucked by the loan in any way, but that's not to say people should take on debt in the hope that it will be wiped out. unless you get the timing right, it's better to stay out of debt so you can take advantage of any dips before the fireworks.

I know RWMM has high markup but they also buy back from customers often. I bought for 1485, now the price is 1545. Alternatively, I could just sell on eBay between those two values and make a profit.

They're actually pretty good; also slim boobas. Here's some info I've gathered:

-price-
$1.1 + (spot / 1000) * 1.155
~$3.06 right now

-available-
https://defythegrid.com/ - 1GBs are cheaper
https://bullionexchanges.com/ - higher denominations are cheaper

As far as I'm aware, only the set of a denomination does (i.e. 5x 1GBs come with 1 sleeve); but if I want to gift one and separate from the stack I'll need one. Plus I have a few foreign/rare fiat I want to sleeve

I took a new pic here >>30221214 after I got my ThO2

>There were still boom and bust cycles before central banks appeared because of fractional reserves
At least crooked bankers could get called out on their crimes. Now they will just call central bank in event of bank run. Fractional reserve is crime against every people holding diluted currency.

If I was armed with a bolt action rifle & iron sights, then I would probably be shutting 1 eye in 90% of situations.
