I use it as my savings account, it's anti pump & dump you might be lucky, until people realize the new SEC chair is in bed with Algo

Heads up, lots of news still on the way but you want to be loaded up before the 12th, that's when the 30day average passes the last time we mooned and Algo won't have growth resistance from accelerated vesting.

Good to know. What’s a good amount to put in each week would you say? I’m poor btw

People are already starting to realize the SEC head nominee is connected with the founder. Time is running out if you haven't loaded already. 2 days ago PayPal acquired Curv who made a contract with using the Algo infrastructure. Bigger news still on the way but if you haven't loaded by the 12, you'll be left behind.

I figured out why the sudden FUD as if it were planned or coordinated.
The foundation wanted the distribution to be "fair" which is why the early stage tokenomics look horrible. They are egalitarians, they believed that in a proof of stake system it has to look as if it is fair, so that's why they built it this way.
>BUT MUH COOF-19
the pandemic accelerated everything in life, especially the banks interest in a cashless grid. It's looking like Algorand is fully onboard the idea to provide a solution for that.
But this accelerates their road map by a few years min.
The last thing they want is to have their coin take off 4 or 5 years before the road map.

Put it what you can afford but the floor will be riding fast every day. There's more exposure tomorrow, the 9th, and 15th as well. There's a reason we're one of the only coins still green will BTC dumps.

Honestly depends on how the alphabet boys play it, and at what point mainstream discussion occurs, if that happens at all.

are we sure there won't ever be accelerated vesting? and isn't overall that a good thing? to accelerate the distribution so it brings launch time closer?

You might be onto something, MIT just emphasized in an article I read yesterday that minimum wage is a failure because minimum wage throughout the whole country isn't enough to provide a decent living and they with the upcoming head chairman of the SEC who is also a professor at MIT (just like the founder of Algorand) is looking into a solution for the current unfair financial state of the USA as it's been realized keeping the system the way it is will be a guaranteed way to crash America.

Accelerated vesting will still be a thing until the reserves run dry but it's an automated system based on the 30 day rolling average. Look at what happened on February 12 and ask yourself how that will effect the 30 day average.

>> No.30199501

>>30199089
Well, the other thing is that if it takes off too early the 8% APY goes away. The entirety of that promise is based on pulling from the reserves. If people and banks rush to buy everything up, the reserves get emptied quicker and this thing moonshots before they can finish cutting deals with governments. It works in their favor for ALGO to be a hit, but it also fucks their entire plan of slow rolling this thing.

I don't buy any of this bullshit but I'm still holding algo. and that clinton stooge can go fuck himself, he doesn't have any connection to the project and Silvio is on sabbatical from MIT to work on this.
I'm not sure if you actually believe a clinton/biden technocrat can save the country or not, or even if it needs saving. But I actually do not trust that aspect. There is an under side to all of this which is dark.

If it really is a permissionless economy, then they should have no problem seeing "the alt right" using it. Every financial institution connected to them are harassed or threatened until they are dropped as customers.
Accelerationist choice should be to demonstrate how easy it is to open up an algo wallet and start collecting donations, for anyone.
(or at least until the foundation corrects what it REALLY means to be "premissionless". After all, there are entire countries barred from using Algo)
