anon, i'll be nice and give you a hint. there doesn't have to be just one crypto. each will have their use case. bitcoin will be the equivalent of gold, because the technology is perfect for that purpose - set supply, etc. it will not be used every day to buy groceries. other cryptos will be used for other purposes, eg ones with very low fees and very fast tx times will be used for micropayments. dogecoin will be used for nothing. i hope that helps little one

It depends on how much money you have and your own investment thesis. Keep in mind a lot of alts dropped >90% in 2017 while btc only dropped -80%. One would think that is not a big difference, but it means having twice as much at the bottom. Yes alt returns are much greater, but someone like Saylor doesn't need to care about alts at all since he is using bitcoin as a store of value.
