I don't short things that I'm long term bullish on and shorting has infinite downside. I did however sell my BTC at around 52k when there was a bearish crossover, and bought back in at around 47k, nothing too amazing but I increased my small BTC pile. TA isn't going to get you the exact top or bottom, but it's going to allow you enter and exit trades at positions of least risk, highest upside, and to know almost immediately if a trade is going to go against you. If BTC breaks under that pink line in the bottom left chart, that's when I'll look to jump out as I'd expect it to pull back to the that next yellow line if not further. And as long as it's trading above the EMA's on the higher timeframes I'm not too concerned. Crypto is just a speculative asset for me that I throw some profits into, I trade boomer stocks mostly.
