Just about everything... right now, I’m working on an intake plenum. The design is split into two pieces because I’m working on the models for the shell moulds to make the sand casting halves from. First, I design the part in CAD based on velocity simulations, then I 3D print and test fit (repeat if modifications are necessary). I’ll go back to my models and create designs for moulds. I use 3D print shells filled with epoxy/sand to make sand moulds and then plugs for internals from sandwich shells.... pour molten aluminum into the moulds and refine with a vertical mill.
