It is pure luck you retard. All you did was press a few buttons on a computer while John Doe is slaving away at a minimum wage job for thousands of hours a year for peanuts.

Hey anon, what do you think luck is?
For me, luck is being smart enough to take opportunities. When I define luck as that, I don't see it as dismissive.

It is luck
You never would have even known about this if you weren't a loser posting on forums all day

Was it pure luck that i watched my portfolio go from $5000 -> $250,000 ->$12,000 -> $350,000

No. It was conviction. It was absolute unbridled confidence in my investments.

Was it lucky to 50x an investment, lose nearly all the gains because you didn't sell, then have it 30x again?

Yes.

well to say luck is retarded but we all got spoon fed a narrative/thesis that we found personally convincing enough to buy, it happened to be correct and we got in on a once in a life time wealth transfer majority of you would never make it to high six or 7 figures if you had to trade options for it or grow a business so yeah very luck we got in on this once in a millium chance to go from peasantry to noveu rich lord of the manner based on a paradigm shift/4IR

Checked

Very few people here will/have gotten rich by way of wit and skill. The vast majority of the 6 and 7 figure portfolios are people who bought in at the right time and held onto their assets through 1 or more bear markets. I think maybe 1-5% of those same portfolios were built by actual guile.
