Why take the risk of holding any bonds, at all. The dollar (and therefore fiat) system is in such a crisis and so close to breaking. Black Swans can happen which throw all orderly plans into disarray. Russia and China announce gold-backed currencies tomorrow; an official gold-price revaluation takes place; we get a banking crisis; the COMEX defaults; and then that's it, all your bonds dump to zero.

this seems kind of dumb desu. you're waiting for some kind of rapture and not paying attention to the actual facts:
>gov't printing money (tender for debt) like crazy
>NEETs gambling stimmies in stocks
>reddit taking out loans to buy silver
>retards not paying rent for a year
>poor people not paying mortgages for a year
>stock market finally losing steam after an illusory bullrun
debt begets debt. so the more debt you print, the more debt you have over time. seems comfy to finally "own my age in bonds," financed by the stock market's all-time high that was (((somehow))) achieved as a solid third of the real economy ground to a yearlong halt. btw, I don't care about "T-bills" and "yield rates" because I simply invest in a cap-weighted index of the total bond market.

Also make sure that you always get the real price of BHS from https://ceo.ca/bhs, do a currency conversion to euros and put a bid in, don't blindly pay the ask.

The current ask price for BHS in Frankfurt is 0.14 euros which is about 0.21 CAD, whereas the real price of BHS right now is 0.19 CAD. So that's an 11% difference if you're not careful. Also, Degiro charges a 7 euro fee whenever you buy or sell penny stocks so you have to bear that in mind as well.

(People here always need to remember to repeat this information whenever any one asks about buying penny stocks on Degiro or in Frankfurt.)

Ignore Irving's market cap. Read up on their properties. They may be some of the highest-grade properties on Earth, and Irving has a true abundance of acreage in Japan. Look at the price chart for Irving since August: a downward trend. You're getting bottom of the barrel prices for what may be one of the most prolific mining properties on the planet.

>With brevity, decoupling the USD from gold was necessary. However, the reason that the USD had to be decoupled was due to a failure of the United States Federal Government going back decades to the Bretton Woods Conference in which Keynes idea of “Bancor” was rejected. Bancor was to be an international currency basket in which no existing currency would be used for macroeconomic transactions between states – instead of USD, Pound Sterling, or German Mark. Simply, Bancor could be used as a neutral currency. Gold could be converted to Bancor – but, Bancor could not be converted to gold directly. Despite rejection of this concept – Bretton Woods carried on with massive international financial projects. The issue with this is that after the (((Second World War))) ruined the world economically, the United States of America was the only state capable of developing these massive financial projects AND the Federal Reserve was thus the “Lender of Last Resort” not just for the American economy but the entire Capitalist World (keeping in mind that the Cold War divided international markets). Thus, the entire public and private economy of the capitalist world relied upon the federal Reserve – not Bancor – for backing of all transactions. This was known to be an eventual disaster as early as 1940 – but, we went through with it in hubris. Although Gold did back the USD there was not enough gold to back the entire global economy booming after WW2. For that reason the USD had to be decoupled. It was a bizarre combination of post-War boom, fiat, metallism, and international hegemony. I recommend reading more about Bancor, the Gold Standard, and the results of converting to Fiat (Plaza Accord).
Is this correct, agree/disagree?

$CLF

Consensus EPS for 2021 is $2.62. Using a multiple of 8 yields a PT of approximately $21. This estimate assumes (1) no commodities super-cycle, (2) no massive ($2 trillion) infrastructure package, and (3) no quarterly earnings beats. Therefore, factoring in that one or more of these 3 conditions have a reasonable chance of happening, IMO yields a PT in the range of 25-$30.

I meant that there are companies that have the money and the expertise that could make an acquisition deal with Irving. Whether Irving wants to or not is another thing of course but the point is there are players in Japan capable of buying and operating Irving's mining & exploration assets. Sometime in the future if Irving decides to sell the company and the shareholders agree with a majority vote I'm sure there will be plenty of parties capable of buying.

see if it holds up at this price for a month or so.

Right now I have buys for BHS at 9-11 cents, there will be more profit taking, and lets be honest, the hype around BHS is hot right now so that doesnt lend to long term price increases. I think a settling in the range of 14-17 cents is reasonable after testing 10ish range

AUN is a screaming hot buy right now at 85-89 cents, once they are pulling 3 mill oz out of the ground people will fomo in, let alone when they are over 6 million oz per year.

AG is a hot buy if it dips to 20$ ish, always a solid strong and relatively safe choice.

Yeah they seem to have the best prices among retailers
Osmium prices are good too.
Personally I don't really like the beads but it's better than the insane markup on luciteria (and even RWMM), who are also both OOS

There are these coins too: https://www.elementsales.com/ecoins.htm
Iridium is at the bottom, about 3% more per gram than the cost of the 10g bead (which seems like the best deal), but they're made by crushing the powdered form so it's probably quite delicate.

If BHS gets down to nine cents, I may start selling stuff around my house to put more in. There is absolutely no way that share price would make sense. Yes, there is hype on PMG, CEO, and Stockhouse, but outside of these three forums, no one else is discussing this company. The junior mining sector is still very much unloved and unnoticed. I highly doubt BHS will retest sub-12c levels, unless the spot price spoofing gets an order of magnitude greater than what it has been.

So if there is a deflationary repeat of last year's March don't be surprised to see Bayhorse down as it's price directly correlated to the price of silver. DId you buy BHS at 9 cents last time it was there?
I sure did and told people to do so.

Sold it all for over 100% gains because shits not going to go parabolic right this second.

Right now the most undervalued thing I am finding out there is aurcana, the only thing I hear people saying is over exaggerated stories of management being some sort of devil... for doing an announced private placement of all things. It wasnt so long ago that BHS was on the firing line for its aggressive share dilution, and at the .20 cent range I said stay the fuck away for that very reason.

That is the thing, valuations have to be re evaluated as time goes on, we cant let ourselves get stuck in a rut and miss out on things. Often what is popular is not the choice to make.

So dont take this as a "never buy BHS" as I have happily invested in them profitably and would do so again, take this as a "there are better opportunities RIGHT NOW and maybe have some dry powder set aside for a better entry point or excitation into BHS"

fair enough, some people just dislike the management that much.

Personally I cannot look at someone pulling 3million oz of silver at ~14/oz this year as only being work 80 cents, let alone one that will pull 6.4 million oz out of the ground within a year at ~14/oz.

Having 60 million positive cashflow after tax this year projected is not something I expect of a company this lowly valued.

BHS if they could get over being stuck at 200TPD I would look at more seriously at higher SP's, but they are still stuck there unless something changes, and they still have had management/dilution issues of their own.

Aurcana: 6 million ounces a year (taking your word for it), $14 AISC (only 3x BHS with higher AISC), not producing yet

Bayhorse market cap: $30 million
Aurcana market cap: $240 million (8x higher)

Bayhorse CEO: Loves his company, completely devoted to it
Aurcana CEO: Scammer who diluted shareholders again and again and didn't talk to them

BHS remains the buy here, not AUN. I'd also direct you to Vangold whose market cap is 1/5th that of Aurcana and yet which is trading at less than 2x what cash flow will be in 2022 (about $40 million) and which also has the blue-sky potential of hitting the Veta Madre.

Still solid, but you have to surf the waves, buy dips sell tops and repeat if you want to make real gains. If the moon shot happens and things go parabolic we all win but until then it isnt a bad idea to swap out things that are high for things that are low.

I cant quite grasp how announcing a placement then doing one is scamming shareholders... that sort of emotional exaggeration doesnt lend well to making business decisions. Especially given how much BHS diluted as well, in an industry where that is just a fact of life.

BHS diluted as much as they needed to do so in order to fund their operation. This last PP was expressly to fund the deal with Ocean and nothing more. AUN wilfully diluted even though they had their loan and all the money that they said they needed. Even Don Durrett was shaken and he had previously written a whole article advocating for AUN. You can see how well BHS has treated their shareholders by looking back at previous share prices. If you bought AUN in 2014 you're down 80%, if you bought BHS you've doubled your money. Taking those points aside, as I have said, doesn't make sense to advocate for buying AUN with 3x BHS production when it has an mcap not 3x higher but 8x higher.

VGLD should not be sold. The re-rating as a producer hasn't even happened yet.

My nigga you're gonna get absolutely raped by SEDEX and if not them, the Alfandega niggers who will just either seize the package or make it disappear.

The best thing you can do is probably travel somewhere where you can get more bang for your buck and bring it back. Sovereign coins are legal tender, so if you bring in 100oz of Golden Eagles you're not even breaking the $10000 reporting rule.

I thought about sending my dad a few ounces for safekeeping, but I just know that shit won't make it there.

I don't really know... I don't think so because you can kind of just make your own if you boil seawater mixed with a small amount of igneous rock
It's more that the himalayan salt was created millions (if you believe in that) of years ago when himalayas were underwater
The money you can make is based off the hippies obsessing over himalayan.
