At about 5k€ i'd stop caring desu
thats more then enought to live comfy in any euro country

>> No.30077326

Literally depends on the lifestyle you want.
I'm currently happy living in a single apartment with a decent kitchen, entertainment electronics and comfy furniture.

Now if I had a girlfriend who wants to fucking "experience things" all the time, travel, dine out, go to events and shit... I'd probably need 30% more money to be comfy.

Some people feel inadequate without a fast car and designer clothes.
Again, different income requirements.

I could retire on 500k easily probaly less

Posting in this thread unfortunately wont put 500k into my bank account

I m also debt free

Most people that have 2 million in assets have 3-4 million in debt thats why they still emotionally act like a wage slave.

the more I've made, the more it's become a priority. Honestly may have been more fulfilled when I would just save up for a while to buy a new car rather than just being able to buy whatever you want whenever you want it.

>> No.30078485

For me, probably ten to twenty million. I make about 140k a year, and I don’t need to worry about some things people stress about like car repairs or paying rent, but I still worry about money. If I was single I would be carefree, but with a wife, a kid, and a mortgage in the northeast I am basically just average. Maximizing my financial situation is a constant priority.

why would you live in such a big apartment alone? I live in 32 square meter apartment alone and it is enough for me.

At about $600,000 I could be lazy and careless as shit with my trading and still make more money than I'd know what to do with. At around $250,000 I could trade how I'm trading now and never worry about money. At my current account size, I cover all my expenses and have money left over to grow my account, but there are a lot of close calls and unpleasant periods where I need to go into rice and beans mode. If I had $250,000 and traded really seriously, I'd have that up to a million in 3 years max.

At least 1 million dollars, but even at 30k I'd think "I'm at a point that I can now start to make it as long as I'm not making bad investments and spending all the money for useless dumb shit

Honestly it was a question of diminishing returns.
It felt like everything under 400 eurobucks was tiny by comparison. Half the space for 1/4 less money? No.
There's really no reason to not have a bigger place unless you want to keep it really warm in a really cold winter (which I don't).

9k with land ownership?

Its kinda scary to me that if I quit now, I wouldn't have anywhere I can belong. I like communism in this way, but also acknowledge the need for private property.

one can have friends over or gf even living ina loft. there is not need for 3-4 bedroom apartment for that purpose.

I guess I just like to pay for stuff that I am using, which is one bedroom and one kitchen, not 3 bedrooms and one kitchen.
