With a 1060 you are not mining BTC, you would make 0 money there because it is dominated by ASICs.
FYI Nicehash PAYS you in BTC, but in the background it mines the coin that is most profitable for your equipment. I can 100% guarantee you that right now, that is ETH.

They are talking about ETH 2.0 which will switch Ethereum from Proof-Of-Work to Proof-of-Stake.
After that happens ethereum stops being mineable, but you can stake your eth if you want to earn more passively.
But nobody knows when that will happen, there have been estimates given that it will be this year since eth 2.0 phase 0 launched recently.
Personally I wouldn't expect it until late next year going by how much time it took them to get phase 0 started.
