You know what I like about reddit?
They made their site impossible to use outside of their app.
So even when someone posts effective click bait, or I'm trying to find a solution to some obscure problem that has a reddit thread about it, their own website stops me from using their website.
It serves as a healthy reminder, "oh right, this place is fucking retarded."
I couldn't really even effectively lurk WSB during the whole GME thing, and that probably saved me some money.

It's an incredibly stupid thing to do as a website owner, but it works really well for preventing casual reddit browsing.
