When a security hits a major resistance line and fails to break that line, it's considered to be a rejection of the price by the market. In this instance 50k was the "breakthrough" resistance price that would instill confidence in bullish investors and traders. Since we failed to hold 50k for long enough to establish new supports it's considered a rejection and is a bearish signal that there isn't enough buy pressure for the asset at that price.
