Why would (((miners))) switch to BCH when they could just stay on BTC and keep raping you on every transaction?

Lol. It's one of the og shitcoins. Nobody is shhh accumulating retard. The fact that it's still in the top 100 is a miracle. Probably because boomer tards pressured grayscale to diversify into other shitbags rather than be over exposed in just btc.

Ok, well Bitcoin is worth ~50k and is on the verge of massive institutional and governmental adoption which would 100x it.
It's the most popular crypto currency by a mile.

It does have transaction congestion and expense problems

bitcoin cash, is a SLIGHTLY faster coin worth way less, less popular, with scattered point of sale adoption in random places.

If you can't see the problem with bitcoin cash you're an idiot.

You think a trillion dollar market cap is going to shift from one coin to the other becase it process 116 tx/s vs 7tx/s

MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE if there was only these two coins out there.

My question for the bitcoin cash people is why you all think this difference is going to make bitcoin cash so special when there are 100s of blockchains that can do 1000's of tx per second, and also how do you consider that any blockchain including bitcoin and ethereum can be pretty simply upgraded to be faster.

Yeah this is sadly the truth, last few blocks had 1.2BTC in fee's rewarded to the miner.

bch was an attempt at hostile takover of the bitcoin network. this won't be forgotten. if you feel punished you are probably right.

It’s got the Bitcoin name in it and you can buy it on coinbase. Boomers will unironically buy this, guaranteed the price goes up

The simplest reason is that old fags dont like it's creators because paint it as the 'real' Bitcoin and try to lure unsuspecting investors to buy it instead of BTC.

The advanced reason is that its use case isn't that different from XRP, LTC, DASH, DGB etc which also offer faster payments for a fraction of a penny

wrong you faggot. Segwit forced BTC to hard fork, at the same time a group of big blockers wanted to preserve the original pre fork version so it was launched as Bitcoin Cash and had the blocksize increased from 1mb to 8mb.Learn your history before talking about things you clearly have no idea about.
Regarding OPs question, BCH lost all steam when it forked into BCHABC, the other half of the fork was BSV which focused on scaling, BCH had 2 years to scale but the faggot devs wastes their time on pointless shit like cashaddr (a different address format) and fucking up the DAA which if left alone would have taken all of the BTC hashrate. All the BCH energy was absorbed by BSV.

>there are 100s of blockchains that can do 1000's of tx per second

There is more to Bitcoin than transaction speed. Like distribution and functionality. All other shitcoins miss this mark entirely. So BSV having 50k/tps while also having all the economic underpinnings Satoshi baked in with fair distribution and PoW is actually significant. That isn't to say 50k/tps is a cap, its not. As Satoshi himself said there is no scaling ceiling.

Monero gets a special mention for having proper monetary policy, PoW and a use case that is different than Bitcoin.
