kek Cielo has plants that can produce 10000 L or 4600 Gallon of fuel per hour, running 24 hours a day. Contract for the fuel I would estimate around 1.25 per l/g based on previous contracts. Thats 100m per plant. Cielo has 3 well positioned plants built close to rail lines and major highways. 2 plants breaking ground this year and plans for 40 within the next few years in Canada and the US. Legislation is currently being worked on to accommodate this company and what they are trying to achieve in regards to amount of plastic in renewable fuel.

What regi and gevo are doing is obviously great work as well, but at the end of the day they are creating a new product out of an old, and eventually that product needs to be disposed of at some point too. cielo is looking to be that disposal method, not recycle.

Is it correctly understood that orders coming in get the best deal that's in the orderbooks, and the orders already in the books have to compete to be chosen by the incoming orders?

If that is true, what happens if you before opening put out a limit buy order much higher than the previous day, and your order is the first to be processed and go straight into the book? Will some lucky guy just get to sell to me at my insane price?

Unsure if they can make the PCR process any shorter. There's around 4 steps. Transferring the samples to a Lysis buffer, bursting the cells inside said buffer from heating it up, transferring the soup to tac, heating and cooling the tac/lysis mixture so the tac can cling to certain DNA, then putting it into a gel for it to replicate millions of times so you can read it with UV light.

day trading is hilarious. everyone acts like there is some crazy super secret holy grail combination of indicators or patterns or something, yet i literally trade profitably just based off of moving averages. it's literally just about risk management and having your profits outweigh your losses, people overcomplicate it so much it's hilarious. so many people can't handle the fact that you can be profitable with a system that loses 49 trades and wins 51 of them on a 1:1 basis. people can't handle losing streaks, people get greedy and think they're a god when they get a winning streak, people get bored when things are balanced. people are short-sighted and impatient.

i used to think it was a meme about how "the hardest thing about trading is psychology" but it's really true, kek. the actual technical side is way more simple than anyone wants to admit i think, probably because "gurus" make so much from selling bullshit to dumbasses.

Nigger, it's call thermal depolymerization. You can even make diesel fuel from animal waste. This is a company in the late 90's that was doing this exact thing. Their fracturing catalyst was water. They also had the problem of additional refining needed to remove the sulphur. Cielo has apparently solved that. It's also probably best that it's proprietary and not patented, because this is not new technology by any stretch.

Yes, I usually sell a call for between 1000 and 1500 and within a couple of weeks we'll get a random pullback and the price of the call will drop to 100-150. That's when I buy it back. If it expires OTM it just disappears, the person who bought it gets nothing, and your collateral is returned to be used again. Also note that if/when you buy it back your collateral is immediately returned to you and you can then sell another call

Because its a newer technology that needs to be proved before a larger scale size plant can be built. Using literal garbage as a feedstock presents a lot of challenges by itself. You can have portions of the piping being clogged by cement like substances by thermally breaking down the substances. Corrosion could be a major issue. Plant piping is constructed with a certain allowance of corrosion and then products being produced could exceed the corrosion allowance resulting in plant shutdowns to replace the piping. Years of testing are needed before a plant can be constructed that can solve the above and other issues that may occur during production.
