Ibkr will charge you, as I recall 1% of trade value on usd things and 0.5% on cad things, a pretty hefty sum far higher than the $10/transaction cap at questrade. You also won't have to pay monthly fees, snapshots, data, etc. with questrade, and ibkr's platform is completely broken compared to questrade's.
