get out and go find archival maps of your region. look for old roads, road houses, camps and even telegraph or fences that existed a century or more ago. This is your best bet to find lost treasure. Old boardwalks are especially good for coinage. If your after gold nuggets, go for a known gold creek and focus on bedrock, least amount of effort for most amount of gain.

A metal detector takes hundreds of hours to learn how to operate, your going to have to dig every target and learn what trash sounds like compared to gold or silver. Hope this helps and happy hunting!

if its on private land you need permission from the land owner, on public land in the us i am not so sure, check local laws on the matter.

When i say and archival map, i mean old property maps, boundary maps, mineral claim maps, fire insurance maps etc. Your local archives have this info. You can not find treasure unless you look where people have been living before and left. You would be amazed what came out from under old town board walks over the years. Gold, guns, tools, all manner of personal effects.

if its gross with dirt use baking soda and gentle scrubbing. Their main site. They are definitely bigger than a kit kat. About the size of a snickers bar but a little longer and thinner...lol. It definitely took the ten to fifteen days delay they claim on their site. It was supposed to arrive fri, then sat. Then I found the slip in the mailbox today, went to the post office this afternoon but the postal worker hadn't brought it back, so went about 4 pm a second time and finally got it. I was actually surprised about the 10 oz stackers. They are much smaller, but thicker, than the other 10 oz bars I have. Ill take another pic here in the minute. The 5 oz is small too, but is chunky. The 20 oz, idk...just feels good. Maybe cause its my first bigger bar or maybe its the size and weight or both. I can't stop touching and fondling it, I might be developing a problem bros.

Trying to dissuade newish stackers. The supply chain is so far backed up that I don't think there is much retail silver remaining that they are willing to part with.
More and more people are waking up to the shit they pull behind closed doors and in the dark that only fucks us over in the end. GME fiasco we have to thank for that. PM's are no where near as volatile as stocks and more people are making the switch to true wealth they can hold. The fact most major bullion online shops are sold out and the spot is the same while premiums on basic non collectable coins soars is another red flag. Its like pitching water after your boat has been sawed in half (or is in the process of being halfed) It will work for a short time but something will break fully soon. Again IMO.

I also have a bunch of 90% and 40% constitutional and a coin collection I inherited from my granddad but I have no idea how much that is in oz. Need to dig it out, but I would guess probably at least 100-200 $ face value. Ive got about 6k in bitcoin ive been thinking about selling and putting into silver but have held off because it keeps crabbing up (most of it I bought at 11k when I dumped a few hundred bucks here and there in it, so ive made a profit).

I just don't know what a realistic time frame for stacking is. I keep reading and watching videos about some of this stuff, but a fair amount of it is over my head. I googled it for you:
>What does Basel III mean for banks’ gold reserves?
Currently, paper gold is not a 1st tier asset. Only fully allocated physical bullion that has no counterparty risk attached that qualifies as a first-tier asset. As we mentioned earlier, Basel III rules coming into effect in March through to January 22 will eliminate any valuation haircut.

The new rules will require a provable 1:1 ratio of fully allocated gold reserves, with no counterparty risk. Under Basel III rules, every central bank will be able to revalue its physical reserves higher, from a current 50% haircut into a fully cash exchangeable asset.

Andrew Maguire believes that central banks will be able to pay off massive swathes of debt by revaluing gold. According to the precious metals expert, gold would not only act as a cash asset, but would also behove central banks to revalue the dollar price of gold.

>>Basel III, which is alternatively referred to as the Third Basel Accord or Basel Standards, is part of the continuing effort to enhance the international banking regulatory framework. >>It specifically builds on the Basel I and Basel II documents in a campaign to improve the banking sector's ability to deal with financial stress, improve risk management, and promote transparency.

OK, so when it goes into effect they are basically going to write off all the paper gold and silver and revalue their holding at physical??? I guess that makes sense, it would definitely make the price rise. But what about the dollar or other currencies. Seems unlikely that governments will go along with their currency devalued, unless this is where they plan on the great reset introducing some global currency or something? I don't necessarily disbelieve that these elites don't want that, I just have a hard time believing they will pull it off. The idea of a pseudo world government, even if its just financial in nature, rests on the idea of the players not having too many competing interests to fuck one another over. That shit doesn't work at the federal level in the US or EU, once you add in china and india and every corrupt 3rd world country, I just don't see how it can work. Doesn't mean they won't try, or that many of the players intentions isn't to actually create some utopic one world government but instead to run the US/EU into the ground and scalp up as much assets as possible. IDK, I definitely think it's built on bullshit, I just have trouble imagining how all this will actually work out in the real world.

I think people generally overestimate in regard to climactic events like collapses of civilizations and like to put it off as long as possible. Obviously if more and more people are thinking that collapse is coming much sooner then that will have a network effect reinforcing and amplifying that sentiment. Even reddit's r/collapse subreddit is much more extreme now. I think it's over by the end of this year, just in time to save us from CBDC Fedcoin and the Great Reset

If we are being real. Lockdowns and the whole boogaloo movement got a lot more people on the whole prepper/doomer game. People are still a bit to comfortable for anything to happen. As Biden continues to show he is no different than any other president and the democratic party keeps tearing its self apart more people will lose the little faith they have left in the system. Its more than just a financial thing. The whole political climate comes in to play.

Almost quads. I think you're probably right but I hope those in control lose control rather than being able to use this energy to collapse us into the Great Reset.

Basel III is never happening, but the biggest aspect related to /pmg/ is the classification of gold as a tier I, risk free asset.

>it looks like the world no longer trusts the US and is moving away from it.

It's more that the US has served it's purpose and no longer economically viable for the future globalist World. They want to destroy the US and force big money to move out.

Yes, a very good investment, especially now and in the next few years. A couple caveats: they are very volatile (swings of 10-15% in a day are common), and the sector varies widely on quality of the companies, especially related to the deposits in the ground and the quality of management as it relates to both shareholders and running the company. Before you start researching mining stocks (and we can help you with that), it really helps to gain an understanding of the macroeconomics that have lead to our current situation and why mining stocks are an especially prudent and lucrative investment. This way, you won’t be as unnerved when your mining portfolio sees some volatility. If you’re into YouTube as a resource, Palisades Gold Radio is an excellent resource. Good luck.
