Hey Pan Man I've some DD related questions I thought you might know the answers to. What does "first-pass" drilling mean? I assume it means drilling that is used to test the stratigraphy in areas where surface exploration is insufficient for that but I'm not sure because Google doesn't help.

And another question I have is related to soil geochemical sampling. I've noticed that gold projects often have very low grade gold soil anomalies that are measured in parts per billion and whose higher grade areas are often max >50ppb Au. And more rarely I have come across projects that have over >2gpt gold in soil as the higher grade areas. Is higher grade gold in soil usually indicative of greater amounts of gold underneath the surface too, or does that depend on the geological setting, host rock and mineralization type (like epithermal vein deposit or disseminated type like Carlin-type or Cu-Au porphyry)? It would be great if it were as easy as seeing distinctly anomalous high grade gold in soil in an exploration play and just throwing money its way and seeing big gains lol, so I assume gold in soil doesn't tell too much about what's underground

>> No.29989734

yes but their very hard to acquire and use due to their locations being mostly in high shipping traffic areas. Dredging in BC is also tightly controlled unless your on 3 major rivers. Asteroids can't be mined yet. Assuming we continue getting better at space travel it will eventually be possible. Once it is possible it won't be profitable at first. The cost to mine (fuel, spaceships, etc.) is more than the value of metals recovered. Once we are here silver is fucked. These costs will go down over time following an exponential decay like economic theory suggests. The precious metals market (currently limited to earth) will be fucked.

But the world is going to shit, and we may never make it that far. And if shit hits the fan your silver coins will be worth more than your shitcoin crypto.

Metals are a hedge if we don't make it to space because of societal decay (the blacks).

For your first question, first pass drilling goes after the first set of targets indicated usually by surface outcrops or anomalies, its the drilling that tests the depth and trend of a potential ore body. Its than followed up by a second and third set of infill drilling to either extend or expand info on the discovered deposit.

As for the second question, higher gold annomoly in soil almost always means higher gold content nearby. Its not always fool proof, sometimes a small 1 gram flake gets mixed in and sends geo chem numbers through the roof, but its a good indicator for gold that is often buried by overburden that VTEM or other remote sensing gear could miss.

Imagine her laughing as you desperately try to escape her. she rips off your clothes with ease as you crawl away, broken and bruised as she handles you like a child. you cry out for help as you squirm away, but her strong grip forces you right under her sweaty muscular body.
She breathes heavily as she takes in your lean body, ready for her personal use.
Tears fall from your eyes, watching her slide off her underclothes as she grinds painfully against your crotch, almost crushing your hips using her powerful glutes. your body responds, accepting your fate before your mind can, realizing that there is no escape from her.

She takes your rod, hot and ready to be used, and guides it into her, much to your despair. She grins evilly as you scream in pleasure and pain, her tight snatch robbing you of all your will; she likes your tenacity, enjoying the chase and fight she had to get through to reach her prize. She loves that she and her sisters will birth many strong children from your fertile body. She loves that you will share her bed and take pride in the children that her family will create with your ever-fruitful body.

They are nice to have in a shtf scenario and are a fun way to expand your investment into a hobby as you can jingle the coins and listen to the ring. You can't do that with bullion coins because they are too soft, will scratch, and form milk spots.
Also, when you say you collect silver, you can inrease the number of ounces you have, as well as expand the number of coins. $50FV is 500 coins and about 32oz of silver. 32 ounces of bullion is only 32 coins. So it's not as fun and it looks cool to spread out a huge collection of coins to contrast with the pristine stack of bullion rounds.

14 million oz is nothing. 848 million oz mined a year.

And if silver was so valuable a commodity, why does it only take $5/oz to mine it?

Its like everyone here and at WSS dont realize that the underpinning to the price of commodities is oil. If oil rises to $100/barrel, thats when youll see gold and silver rise. Currently oil is $61 a barrel, which is why gold and silver are still so cheap compared to the rampant inflation seen on Wallstreet.

Which also shows you the disconnect between wallstreet and the real world: Real world needs oil, or some form of energy to make the world run. Financial markets do not. Hence, commodities are locked in with oil while things like stocks and crypto are not (also why PMs have severely underperformed against other assets in the last 4 decades).

A bet on gold or silver is a bet that inflation will hit oil. It is a bet on the demise of the petrodollar, essentially, America losing access to cheap oil.

You will not rock the commodity/PM market in the US without rocking the oil/petrodollar market first.

That's the biggest thing that we are all realizing this last week is that we severely underestimated how gullible and retarded these people are.

The light bulb clicked for me last week after months of head scratching and frustration as I watched metals crab and dump for a year. These people are retarded. They are so retarded that basic revaluation we all made years ago they haven't even had yet. We are twelve steps ahead of them right now and they will have each realization one at a time and it will be long and drawn out and it will be painful every step of the way.

It sucks we have to wait so long but it just gives us more time and we will get to laugh at them along the way.

I think the time line will go like this.

Couple months from now....

The first two are interchangeable with which comes first.

Three months from now or less maybe two.

1. Oh no! Covid is a hoax! This is all bullshit and there is no recovery coming because common sense states never really locked down at all and we've already recovered! (market crash)

2. Oh no! All of these people were being paid not to work and getting paid more than they were working and so they were buying shit on Amazon and making it look like the economy was good! (market crash, kms)

Then. These things
1. There will be another boomer normie "oh no!" when the treasury bonds explode and then the fed steps in ( or doesn't)

2. Oh no?! Inflation is really really bad! The government lied about this!
!
3. Oh no! There is no safe haven from all of this! (because they don't know metals and are retarded)

4. Oh no! There is a safe haven but it's too expensive now! (Gold and silver).
Then in the background you have the shadowy giants looming holding baseball bat's with names like (Basel 3 June thisnehar), LIBOR debt reset (2023), fed repo crisis (currently propping the bond market 120 billion a month) and then there's still even more shit than that. All waiting. Ready.

The most hilarious thing for me will be watching this happen in incremental steps. We made the twelve leaps in logic instantly, as soon as we realized " hey this is all bullshit", and the normies and the boomers will have to make each one painfully, and one step at a time, and the market will crash and then recover and then crash and then recover with each one. And we will be laughing the whole way, getting exponentially richer in the process.

So many factors, so many painful lessons that need to be taught. I wish I could solidify them into solid steps, but definitely the big ones are
1. Oh no! Covid was a hoax and there is no recovery.
2. Oh no! We paid people not to work and it made the economy look good.
3. Oh no! The government lied about inflation and its really bad.
4. Oh no! There is no safe haven! Bitcoin only gets you more fiat.

Forbearance was passed in March of 2020. It allows those renters or those with a mortgage who have been affected by Covid to postpone their rent. Keyword 'postpone'. But no crackhead or nigger is going to come up with $6,000 - $20,000 at the end of a full year living rent free. Idk anyone who has used that program.
The checks everyone got were bullshit 'printer go brrrrrr' and a scam and a half. All the buddies of officials got their dicks wet with millions of bucks.
Then there's unemployment ...

>They are nice, you pay a premium for them tho.. more than with rounds.
You got that backwards, generally speaking you pay more premium on rounds then you do on dimes.
A $5 roll of dimes is 3.575 oz, and at current spot of 26.71, thats 95.488 USD. And they are selling for 118.02 (credit card/debit card) so a premium of 22.54 USD / 3.575 oz, to come out to a premium of 6.30 USD Per oz of silver in silver dimes.

Compere that to 1 oz silver rounds(i assume you mean eagles), which have a cost of 36.68 which is a premium of about 10 bucks, right now. per oz.

NOW! if you are talking about a premium in mucury dimes vs any silver dimes then yeah there is a slight premium, not nothing compared to buying rounds or 1oz coins.

ebay friend. find listings about to end with 1 or 0 bids. if something you see catches your eye, cross reference the listing with numista for the silver value. you'll have to manually filter out all the trash coins, but after several hours of experience you'll learn to spot something worth looking at compared to trash. I also picked up a silver medal yesterday for $12/ozt a couple of days ago using this method, my most efficient pickup yet. if you're non-burger, things are even better in your favor, because there are relatively few international junk silverbugs. I know there's a frog anon here that's been purchasing francs for like 20 usd/ozt on the regular.

unfortunately yes for many operations it is. Crews like Parker's and Tony Beets have massive operating costs so they need to move massive amounts of material to make money, however there are plenty of smaller operations scattered across the territory that make money too. The issue now is that people have to keep going further and further into the bush to find pay dirt, and its getting prohibitively expensive for new comers. Same goes for BC, the best ground is in the middle of nowhere, and only the established crews with excavators, washplants and a decade of info behind them really have a hope to make major money at placer mining. Yet every year now more and more people are trying their hand at mining, more people bought ground this spring than the last ten years combined. The entire province of BC is staked up, the Yukon isnt far behind. Welcome to the modern Gold Rush

My gold juniors ETF tho, I’m getting slaughtered. I’m down 25%.

Coin capsules or tubes if you want to keep the tarnish out, next to it silica do not eat bags and activated charcoal to keep moisture and sulfide out. In the open air if you do not care about tarnish, black tarnish (Ag2S/Ag2O) is not inherently bad as it is just silver in another form and will not corrode further some numismatics pay you even more for that. Just keep it away from PVC that will literally dissolve your coin over time

yea I mean it's still going back up anyways, it's just nice to get an extra oz of silver for the same price I would have paid for my order 12 hours ago.

Cool, I've only watch a couple episodes but the dramatic editing makes it feel kind of fake.

Even still there are premiums.
Silver eagles cost 36.78, a 10 buck premium above spo per oz.
5 oz bar fine silver 163.92 or 32.78 an oz about 7 dollar premium per oz
10 oz fine silver 316.79 or 31.67 an oz, about a 5 buck premium per oz
100 oz fine silver 3127.95 or 31.27 an oz so again about a 5 dollar premium per oz.
All those are fine silver yet still vastly different premiums.

yea i cant stand the editing. There used to be a fantastic channel on Youtube called "Discovery shows without cuts" which edited each gold rush episode down to about 15 minutes without the constant commercial / rewind bs.
I hate the editing but the gold and the mining are real, the drama is entirely fabricated. If something breaks on one of parker's machines, Volvo has a full repair container and call number for him, anything he needs he has it within a day.

Dude never trust USPS, they litearlly have the lowest common denominators as their employees, seriously, there is a reason their union and all of the USPS backed Biden, they are fucking retarded.
I had a 30 min phone call one time with someone asking them, why cant they just go back if they know where my package is, pick it up, and let me come and get it. "Oh we cant do taht." why? "Well we cant." WHy whats physically stopping you from picking up my pacakge so i can come get it. "Well we cant do that."
