I speak to Amazon employees regularly. They work their workers to death, and don't give two shots about them, but they don't force them to piss in bottles.

The most inhumane thing about working at Amazon is not being able to listen to music. "What if there's an alarm you can't hear???" Yeah one earbud at half volume while I stow in a 3x3 cube is really going to make or break me boss, thanks for looking out

I know some insanely talented guys from the events industry who are working in fulfilment warehouses atm.
Not musicians, riggers and AV tech guys. Give them an empty arena and a couple of trucks full of gear in the morning, and there'll be a full production gig starting at 8pm that night.

But they're standing in a fucking warehouse doing the bit the robots aren't good enough at yet. Grim.

I'd rather day labor desu. Landscaping is probably less physical, less heat (inside with no AC vs outside), less demanding

Another physical job that ain't so bad is liquor and beer. Although sometimes beer is like soda, you drive your own truck, so it's not as unskilled as working in a warehouse. But I know of people who work in those giant big box liquor stores and all they do is stock shelves. Advantage being you're in the AC and can listen to music. I think warehousing is among the worst jobs going, at least with KPI shit. It's like the worst aspects of retail and manufacturing combined. I bet it was fucking chill 20 years ago. You and a bunch of felons stacking pallets by hand.

I would never ever commit a crime. But if I did I would make way more money than that and have a comfortable life doing it and feel great about it. But I have never done anything illegal.
