>tfw I will never have a job where I travel to cool cities all over the world in business class
its over bros

I don't see how spending half of your life on an airplane is desirable. Companies aren't paying you to be a tourist where you can leisurely stroll through the city for an entire afternoon.

it's either spend half your life in an office or spend half your life in an airplane

Traveling is even more wage slavery than usual. Every business trip I've ever been on consisted of 16 hour days when you consider travel and spending time with coworkers and clients. My company always has you fly out after work, and fly back at night in order to come in the next day. I don't care about "free food" when I have to eat with clients and talk about business, and I don't care about "free hotel" when I am only there from 9pm to 7am, at best. And I still have to do my regular workload in between meetings but on my laptop with spotty WiFi in a conference room. I feel for people who travel most of the time, if their experience is like mine.

I think when you actually get to the nitty gritty of what people do in their day to day life you start to see how much of a larp everything is. I see niggers on /biz/ act like they live such an exciting life and I don’t get how, most people I know irl commute two hours a day (because stupid I guess?, these people are pulling 70k-120k as well)
I commute 15 minutes each way and I still feel like I have no free time. Yeah I’ve got six hours a day but it doesn’t feel like enough to actually accomplish anything. I have no idea what an adult is supposed to do to make friends for example. And you throw in OT, anyone with a “real job” I have no idea leads an “exciting life”

This 100%. I can't tell you how many downtown hotels suites I have been in with a full view hot tubs free bar etc and all I want to do is watch news then switch to the weather channel before I go turn on the A/C and go to sleep. Yeah the coke and hookers thing is fun for like 2 months then it gets really exhausting and if you don't get a break you can implode.
