I guess it depends what timezone 4:32pm in the tweet is, but 43600 was reached twice (2:30 and 4:30), so if he opened the position after the first 43600 it has to be 100x since the high in between was 44600 and you don't get liquidated on a 44600 long at 43600 with less than 100x (or ~90x)

sup fag-o. No, assuming 10x leverage, someone took a 1 mil hit. And that someone probably doesn't even care. I do long/shorts with very small amounts ($100 - $500), have win some, have lost some. worst liquidation was a btc long at 50k last week cause I was sure it was gonna up and it reversed the minute I made the trade. I was so sure it was going up that i didn't even had an exit position. In a hour or so I got liquidated kek. But that's literally like 5% of my poorfolio so other than feeling like an idiot I don't particularly care.

same for this rich assholes. If you are worth 1000 BTC, losing 1M in a bet that could've given you 10M is meh. Besides, by the time you are spending 1M in margin trading you are probably not afraid of it anymore, and have probably made waaaay more in the past.

nobody uses 100x leverage and the higher the leverage the smaller the maximum position size is.If they longed near ATH they would only need around 4x leverage to be liquidated at 43.6k.

2.5 million * 4 = 10 million
10 million - 2.5 million = 7.5 million
7.5 / 10 = 75%
56k * 0.75 = 42k
