I was looking into projects recently and COTI struck my eye. It has already 4x this month and appears to be an attempt at a decentralized payment processor. This makes sense to me as something you would want decentralized. Using this, you couldn't have a central authority shutting down payment processes like say Paypal did with Gab. Also, this way of doing it would cut out unneeded middle men, like Paypal, no? Not to mention, this way of doing it would also be more secure, right? This is a really profitable industry to get into, I believe it is like a 2 trillion dollar industry.
Alot of the fundamentals look good, it still has a relatively low market cap at 135 million. So there's a lot of room for explosive growth. It has a doxed team. The CTO, Dr. Nir Haloani, has a PHD in applied mathematics, a BSc in computer science and mathematics, and he is a former head of research for IBM. https://coti.io/team
It has has partnered with Chainlink and Cardano.
The tokenomics don't seem too crazy. It has a max total supply of 2B with 670 million now circulating. I could use help looking into this further. I want to know who owns most of the current supply and how inflation and staking will look.
Overall, it seems like a good project to me. What are your guy's thoughts? What does the FUD for this look like?

The max supply is always 2 billion but that seems like a gorrilean coins to introduce and might cause fast inflation. What are yours and others thoughts on this? But, at the same time, perhaps it raises the usage of the token and money in the system more than it inflates the coin thereby increasing its value overall?

How no interest? Literally every time i search for coti there is 1 thread up. Its under the radar but not the /biz/ radar.

I believe in both ada and coti, with my small folio im better of in coti tho

>Tokenomics
Tokens are very slowly released, next release is eoy so relax.
>Fud
They are doing everything as planned for the previous projects, its too hard to fud this project. Maybe things look to generic but i dont care

Anyone have a KuCoin referrel? I think I am going to buy 1k worth of this coin once its price dies down a bit. Anyone know a good time to enter with the coin beyond seeing when it stops dumping and pumping a bit again? It has been in the red today for some reason.

Im not that eloquent in English nor experienced enough to answer some of your questions, also need to do more research because i fomoed in recently. Literally checked the basics.
Also, one thread few days ago had around 100 replies. Mostly they get around 20. Been following coti since 0.06$ days and its such a shame i didnt invest back then but it is what it is, its still early fren.

I dont use kucoin. It pumped recently so correction is healthy, also floors are rising if you check monthly price. Its best to DCA but if not, try to buy on the support line and forget checking the price everyday.

Hm, make it is probably around 250k Coti
suicide more around 25k. That is, if 250k is the stack to make you a million and 25k is the stack to make you 100k. it is at 20 cents at the moment so might be hard to still accumulate this much but hey maybe the price will keep going down to 10 cents or get super low during the next bear cycle.

>> No.29864878

>>29864069
Well AMP has a higher market cap and a gorillean tokens. like it has close to 100 billion vs Coti's 2 billion? I dont really want to get dumped on by amp. Also what does Amp's dev team look like compared to Coti's? What about their roadmap and track record? Not to mention, what are they doing differently? These are all things we should look into.
I'm not too familiar with the fine details atm.

10k COTI (about $2k at current prices) isn't significant when compared to the size of merchants coti usually deals with.
Merchants are required to have a monthly sales volume of at least $50k to be able to use coti's services. Not to mention, the merchant will be expected to buy a lot more COTI than that in order to pay nodes for their services. I see the 10k free tokens as more of a gesture than anything else.
>>29863530
GOVI is a defi product built by the same team as COTI. It was airdropped to wallets holding COTI from september to december.
>>29866027
Yes, but it's been very undervalued for a long time.
Long story short: ICO price was about 0.07 which is where the price was stuck for months (presumably early investors cashing out after holding for 1-2 years)
But in general the crypto market looks shaky right now, so a better entry might come along.
>>29867458
Til height of the bull run at least. But also try and get part of your stack staked for the long term if you want to cash out the rest.
