SHILLS BTFO // FLAGS NOW:

The order also states that none of the issuers has filed any information with the SEC or OTC Markets, where the companies' securities are quoted, for over a year. As a result, the SEC suspended trading in the securities of:

Bebida Beverage Co. (BBDA); Blue Sphere Corporation (BLSP); Ehouse Global Inc. (EHOS); Eventure Interactive Inc. (EVTI); Eyes on the Go Inc. (AXCG); Green Energy Enterprises Inc. (GYOG); Helix Wind Corp. (HLXW); International Power Group Ltd. (IPWG); Marani Brands Inc. (MRIB); MediaTechnics Corp. (MEDT); Net Talk.com Inc. (NTLK); Patten Energy Solutions Group Inc. (PTTN); PTA Holdings Inc. (PTAH); Universal Apparel & Textile Company (DKGR); and Wisdom Homes of America Inc. (WOFA).

The SEC also recently issued orders temporarily suspending trading in:

Bangi Inc. (BNGI); Sylios Corp. (UNGS); Marathon Group Corp. (PDPR); Affinity Beverage Group Inc. (ABVG); All Grade Mining Inc. (HYII); and SpectraScience Inc. (SCIE).

Each of these orders stated that "the suspensions were due at least in part to questions about whether social media accounts have been attempting to artificially increase the companies' share price."

According to the SEC, "today's action follows the recent suspensions of the securities of numerous other issuers, many of which may also have been targets of apparent social media attempts to artificially inflate their stock price.

>Palantir: The Sell-Off Is Not Over

>Of course, a major reason for the sell-off has been due to the recent bearishness in the general markets, especially with high-growth tech operators. It does look like investors are getting nervous about rapidly increasing interest rates.

>But general market sentiment is not the only factor impacting PLTR stock. Keep in mind that the latest earnings report was also disconcerting for Wall Street. Now it’s true that – on the surface – the performance looked solid. Revenues jumped by 40% to $322 million, trumping analysts’ prediction of $300.7 million. As for the non-GAAP earnings, they came to six cents a share, compared to the Street estimate of two cents a share.

>So then what was the problem with the report? Well, it looks like growth will decelerate. For the full-year, the forecast is for revenues to rise by around 30%.

>The Chief Operating Officer, Shyam Sankar, sold 757,510 shares at prices that ranged from $24.59 to $29 (he netted over $21 million). Then there were the sales of 2.7 million shares from three other executives. They include Stephen Cohen, the cofounder and president; Matthew Long, the general counsel; and Ryan Taylor, the chief legal officer and business affairs officer.

>Such activity is not necessarily unusual (after all, equity compensation is a big part of the Silicon Valley way). But it is still a red flag. Whenever a group of executives sell off their shares — especially after a big run-up — this is a sign that the valuation of the stock is on the high side.

>And this really should not be a surprise either with PLTR stock, which is trading at 24 times sales. This is definitely a stretch, as the growth rate is likely to come down. Thus, it might be better to temper expectations on this investment for now.

The fed doesn't issue new money, they control fiscal not monetary policy, the fed tends to run a surplus not a deficit. The fed creates new money by loaning it to banks and the banks make money loaning it to businesses and you. The fed has to run a surplus not a defecit, so everything they borrow to pay for bonds are offset by the bonds maturity value. They dont issue new money they issue debt, new money comes from when the treasury prints money to pay interest and then there is usually a defecit compared to what they actually collected from taxes.

>Uhhhh do you actually not understand how money creation works. If you take on debt the bank just borrows from the fed at a lower rate to loan out to you at a higher rate
No, they use the cash deposited by their clients. The short term cash they can get for the Fed on the REPO market is only available overnight. It isn't available during the day.
>the fed is an overnight lending bank retard that's what REPO is
The Fed is much more than that but yes you're correct. Banks can both borrow from the Fed and from other commercial banks with excess reserves to lend out.
>also the bottom of the corridor is IOER which is compounded daily I believe.
So what's the difference between IOER and Federal Funds Rate?
>That is not the main way the fed loans, the main way the fed loans is by literally letting the banks decide what amounts they want to loan in cash and at what durations.
Banks can only loan out a certain amounts before not being liquid enough to be able to give pay back their clients when they want to take out money from their accounts throughout the day. That's what a bank run is and it's why banks generally keep more money than the strict reserve requirement dictated by the Fed. I'm not aware of any lending facilities offered by the Fed that lends them money throughout the day rather than only overnight (but they can get loans from other commercial banks if needed).
The main way the Fed loans nowadays though is by purchasing treasury bonds.

When a bank wants money the fed creates that money and charges it (interest rate) on it. When the bank loans the money to you it loans it at (interest rate + risk). Yes but so will a lot of other divvy chasers so you will usually get far less than the divvy will pay you. Its usually better to sell into the small rallies into the ex-dividend day. You make up the lost dividend with higher sell price.

Today, those puts got assigned with the share price at about $24. So I now own 200 shares of this shit. I'm not happy.

>The fed doesn't issue new money,
Then where does money come from?
>they control fiscal not monetary policy,
Fiscal policy is controlled by congress, monetary policy is controlled by the fed.
>the fed tends to run a surplus not a deficit.
Anyone can have a surplus of cash when you have a money printer.
>The fed creates new money by loaning it to banks
The fed only loans money to banks overnight AFAIK.
>and the banks make money loaning it to businesses and you.
No, the banks loan out money that was deposited by their customers.
>The fed has to run a surplus not a defecit, so everything they borrow to pay for bonds are offset by the bonds maturity value.
The only way the treasury can pay out the bond's maturity value is by borrowing an even higher amount from the Fed. It's almost impossible to unwind their debt without defaulting on some of their bonds, because the debt issued (27 trillion) is higher than the monetary base (5 trillion).
>They dont issue new money they issue debt,
Money is debt in the Fed's balance sheet, that they exchange for assets (bonds). But that's just a vestigial technicality from the gold backed dollar. All they're doing is printing cash to pay for bonds. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing literally takes orders from the Fed to print physical cash and send them to the banks to pay for the bonds the Fed buys.
>new money comes from when the treasury prints money to pay interest and then there is usually a defecit compared to what they actually collected from taxes.
The treasury prints money when the fed orders them to, and gives it to whoever the fed orders them to. The treasury itself can't touch that cash.

>So what's the difference between IOER and Federal Funds Rate?

There is none, LIBOR or SOFA make up the top bracket of the FFR, the ~0.25% rate, and IOER makes up the bottom bracket, the 0.00%. The fed funds rate actually isn't stable it shifts everyday but the fed uses these two brackets from their lending arms to create a corridor that banks can get yield from, they can get 0% leaving it in their FED reserves or they can get 0.25% taking on overnight risk.

>Banks can only loan out a certain amounts before not being liquid enough to be able to give pay back their clients when they want
That is not how modern banking works
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basel_III
Liquidity comes the fed and other banks taking collateral and loaning it out "overnight" in exchange for cash. If 100% of everyone wanted to withdraw their money the bank would simply do a 100% net liabilities loan overnight and drawdown assets to buy back 100.01% of the net liabilities the next day, or however long it takes them liquidate the assets of course

>No, they use the cash deposited by their clients. The short term cash they can get for the Fed on the REPO market is only available overnight. It isn't available during the day.
This is what tips me off that you might not know what you're talking about, as overnight lending is actually just a term for 24 hour lending. Yes banks can and do use overnight lending to take on massive amounts of money using collateral, but besides that point if they need longer term funding then the fed simply gives them longer term funding, every single time you create a debt asset on the banks balance sheet they can take out a corresponding debt liability at the fed bank

>That is not how modern banking works
>https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basel_III
Ok so what part of that standard says this isn't how it works?
I hear many anons claiming that fractional reserve banking somehow changed and the source for the majority of the loans comes from the fed now but the only evidence they've presented is some vague paragraph from the "money creation in the modern economy" paper that IMO they have misunderstood.
I also think that we should distinguish "money creation" as in M1, which is in fact created by fractional reserve banking, and "money creation" as in M0, which by definition can only happen when the central bank (Fed) issues new money.
>Liquidity comes the fed and other banks taking collateral and loaning it out "overnight" in exchange for cash.
The Fed doesn't need collateral to loan. They can "loan" freshly issued reserve notes (a liability) against an asset (a treasury bond or IOU received from the commercial banks).
>If 100% of everyone wanted to withdraw their money the bank would simply do a 100% net liabilities loan overnight [...]
>This is what tips me off that you might not know what you're talking about, as overnight lending is actually just a term for 24 hour lending. Yes banks can and do use overnight lending to take on massive amounts of money using collateral [...]
I see. Well you might be right on this. I was told that banks have statistical models to determine what amount of reserves they need to prevent a bank run killing them and that the number is generally above the regulatory reserve requirement but that might be outdated information.
But I still think you're wrong on thinking the treasury is responsible from issuing new money (M0) and not the fed.

Turns out it was only tight when the market momentum was large and had a 60% failure rate during small impulse or crab days. Never really figured out a way to fix that and the gains on large-impulse day weren't good enough to justify doing that over /smg/-style swing/core trading. I still use TA to get in and out of positions, but to me, it was just not worth it.

remember to buy AQB, going to bounce back very soon. Very strong buy long term as well:
The FDA and Health Canada approved the AquaBounty AquAdvantage salmon as the first and only bioengineered animal protein for human consumption.
>AquaBounty Technologies (NASDAQ: AQB) plans first-ever harvest and commercial sales in the U.S. for this fall.
>AquaBounty’s AquAdvantage fish program is based upon a specific molecular modification completed one time, 30 years ago, to better protect the fish during their early, most vulnerable stages of growth, resulting in an estimated 70 percent increase in annual production output for AquAdvantage versus conventional Atlantic salmon.
>It doubles the growth rate of farm-raised salmon through a simple genetic modification, getting it to market size in half the time, 18 months vs. 36, while consuming fewer resources
>Tests spanning 20 years show that the only difference between transgenic and non-transgenic salmon is the intended difference: their growth rate. There are no organoleptic differences (flavor, texture) or variations in the composition of the meat, nor is there any problem when consuming it.

>AQB has 89 institutional owners and shareholders that have filed 13D/G or 13F forms with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). These institutions hold a total of 29,600,150 shares (65.84%). Fractional reserve banking was never really a thing, what you call fractional reserve banking we now call monetary velocity. It was never a thing, it was simply more people moving their money and buying and paying off debt means you have more deposits and liabilities, with low monetary velocity you get less of those transactions

That "money creation in the modern economy" is how it works, and mostly how it worked. Even with gold backed dollar the reserve would've created new currency.

M0, base money supply, is just money without a liability attached

The fed does the loaning yes, at the height of Repo they were doing 75 billion in MBS repo loans

The treasury does, any surplus the fed creates gets either used to pay back bonds automatically or gets sent to the federal reserve shareholders as a distribution dividend

They have previously noted that they weren't allowed to tell who the retail seller of their salmon was in canada (they sold to the distributors Sea Bounty (or whatever) and montreal fish co. but they couldn't release who the sushi restaurant selling their fish in high-end products was for fear of backlash over GMO), which might also drive the subdued advertisements. Their presentation for investors is ridiculously solid, although they're completely ignoring their non-salmon stuff from their contents (they also have trouts and tilapia).

Salmon is very popular but expensive. This could provide salmon that is less expensive. That could mean people who don't often buy salmon will do so, and others will buy it more often. It's also important when looking much further ahead when wils salmons natural habitat is disrupted by climate change

In canada, shelf price of salmon is >$30/kg. They're selling at like 10/kg (see NQSALMON for price), so supermarkets could get a 200% margin if they were to take them up on the offer (since they can grow everything locally so there's next to no logistic costs).
There's also nothing wrong for them to supply to hotpocket makers. A sale's a sale.

How will they get it to people? Not clear
And the news from the fish farmer site addresses some of the second.
Additionally, they remain fully profitable even if they do no GMO whatsoever, it's just that it would be a waste of good EBITDA.

Tankers are storage of last resort. When nobody needs the oil, it's stored in land storage, then in pipelines, then in tankers if shit gets really bad. Tanker rates for storage are extremely high so they make bank in that case.

And then they dilute because fuck you.

They slightly went up a month before oil went low, then they all tanked. None mooned.

Money velocity is the rate at which money changes hands
Are you thinking of the money multiplier?
>That "money creation in the modern economy" is how it works, and mostly how it worked.
I agree I just think people misunderstand the paper.
>Even with gold backed dollar the reserve would've created new currency.
Yes but the dollars would only be created when the people gave their gold in exchange for currency.
>M0, base money supply, is just money without a liability attached
M0 is a liability in the fed's balance sheet. And in the commercial bank's sheet it's an asset backed by a liability.
>The treasury does, any surplus the fed creates gets either used to pay back bonds automatically or gets sent to the federal reserve shareholders as a distribution dividend
I don't know what's this surplus you're talking about. You mean the cash the Fed gets back from the economy (monetary base contraction)? If so then that is a result of the treasury paying back bonds, not the other way around. Fed member banks do get a 3% div IIRC on "paid-in capital" but I never managed to figure out exactly what that "paid-in capital" is.

Rich people who don't own oil silos and are doing a big oil trade will pay premium to the tankers to just hold the oil when prices are low. The fleet just sits there with minimal costs and takes in premium pricing. This can boost profits short term, but is often not long lasting. When oil goes back up they sell, the tankers have to move and maintenance cost rise again, regular contracts kick back in and premium is wiped out. Very cyclical and is hard to time but if you catch a spike can be very rewarding
