OK boys, I hit the snag. Things were going too easy with moving to TN I knew something big was coming to fuck my shit up.

My truck blew a head gasket, and I'm supposed to be leaving on Sunday. If I rent a car I can't drop it off in TN, I have to drop it off 2 hours from my TN destination - in Abingdon, VA.

My mechanic friend is talking about foregoing the head gasket and replacing the motor altogether.

Coping by listening to every version of Country Roads there is.

Food for thought:

US nickels are undervalued by about 15%

A US nickel weighs 5g and is comprised of 75% Cu and 25% Ni. Thus, 100 nickels ($5 FV) contain 375g (.826 lbs) Cu and 125 g (.275 lbs) Ni. Current prices of Cu and Ni are $4.216/lb and $8.470/lb, respectively, giving our $5 FV a melt value of $3.48 worth of Cu and $2.33 worth of Ni, for a total of $5.81. $5.81/$5.00= 1.16. This ratio will only increase. They already stripped Cu from the penny. They will strip it (and the Ni) from US nickels sooner or later.

2,000 US Nickels can be bought for $100, with a total weight of 22lbs and a current melt value of $116.20. The numismatic value of Cu/Ni coins will only increase once US nickels are stripped of these elements. Furthermore, US nickels are the least produced and least circulated coin.

If you hold constitutional silver and pre-1983 pennies as small denominations for future bartering, you may want to consider a stock of Cu/Ni US nickels as well. If a Mercury dime will get you a BJ, A Cu/Ni nickel should at least get you a handie.

yeah i did all the low iq research: money printing, QE, artificially low silver supply compared to paper allocations, history of money, etc. But I'm not sure that's really what is driving the price now, I think a lot of it is just a huge manipulated market that governments control. We're so far from the gold standard anyways that I don't think it's really something the governments are even close to thinking of tying back into. There is a pretty big risk this dumps back down to 1300 or something for another decade. It's not a terrible thing to own some gold and silver but I think we might have bought the hype.

The problem with memeshit like that is appreciate in value until it doesn't.
Our economy is completely backwards. It's not sustainable. Tesla is biggest car maker by market cap but makes less than 1% off cars produced worldwide.
>that just throws their money at memes make insane returns
That's called gambling and people on /biz/ only tell you about profits but are mostly silent about loses. You will get better returns on winning lottery buying one lucky ticket. Imagine if all people on the world went all in crypto and other memeshit returns will be insane but pulling out funds will be hard.
If somebody dumps 10k BTC on market price market will crash to almost zero. If somebody solds 10 tons of gold its just normal transaction with minimal influence on price.

its the same as tellurium bull: https://pastebin.com/vWS9qbPw

Tellurium will go parabolic; main component in most cost-effective, thin-film solar panels. China and all vehicles will be CdTe solar by 2030. With a rarity greater than gold, prices will skyrocket. Produced as a byproduct of zinc and copper electrolytic refining; copper producers will soon find it more profitable to pivot to Te. Excess copper galore; back to measly green trash. It's not even resistant to tarnish, why would anyone use copper?
Trust me anon; I've already read about this in the history books back home.

When we predicted it before, there was no mass movement or even popular knowledge of what a short squeeze is. There's going to be constant buying-pressure from WallStreetSilver and silversqueeze from now on and it's growing every day. If the default doesn't happen in March then it _will_ happen. It's a mathematical certainty that if you have trillions of dollars in parabolic inflation and only a few tens of billions of $ of silver lying about to buy, those dollars will chase it and cause a default sooner or later.

some of them are probably crypto kids with 100% of their portfolio in crypto
i hold crypto too, there's nothing wrong with that, but why would you shit on your fellow /biz/nessmen for choosing stability over speculation?
we are all in this together, having a healthy portion of your net worth in PMs is not only recommended, but essential under current conditions

stacklets, don't get discouraged by antipm shills. look at the data, think and draw your own conclusions.

Hey guys, forgive a newfag here. At least to PMG. My father always collected coins, went to shows and dealt with the local exchanges a lot. he never collected bullion, only numismatic. About 10 years I started collecting some bullion but trailed off and haven't done it in a while. i want to get back into it but i'm really interested in collecting st. gaudens double eagles. somewhat influenced by my late father. just an absolutely beautiful coin. however, is it really worth the premium? they look to be about 2050-2100 with AU with current spot for about .90 of an ounce. is it this dumb play? should i just get the cheapest bullion i can. also i'd like a silver equal, but it seems to be the peace dollar. premium on those is ridiculous, has it always been this bad or is it just due to the last couple of years and all the newfags like me driving the premium prices up?

thanks for any tips.

You can make your investment on fundamentals or just chase easy money following pumps and dumps.
But you might end up like people holding beanie babies.
In my country before WW2 there were bonds with returns as high as 10%. There were also circulative silver coins. And people were buying bonds like crazy. Only few were stacking silver. But during German occupation bonds were used to package meat and never become redeemable again even after fall of communist government. You still can sell silver coins with nice numismatic premium.
