i think the original graphics are WAY better. everything in the game just fit together perfectly for its time of 800x600 VGA. i liked that the monsters are detailed enough that you see it's a regular skeleton or a boss skeleton, but not much more. resurrected just seems WAY too detailed for me. compare original necromancer with the new one and it gives away everything. the new one's detailed facial expression just fucking ruins it.

PoE is ok, but it gets boring pretty fast for me. can't quite put my finger on it, i don't really like how convoluted the system is. it's too cluttered, way overboard with the skills and constellations or whatever they were. part of why i loved d2 is the lean approach with just enough diversity

PoD season is on 5th of March, PD2 on the 12th...there really shouldn't have been overlap between them, but they started directly competing with each other for audience. that said, i think PD2 is more party-oriented and i only play it with a friend most of the time, not a full party of 4-5 so I'll skip this time
