Also, what if there are not enough fees for my staked LINK to cover the IL? They say that they'll just print more BNT to cover it in that case, and supposedly I can market dump that BNT right there for LINK. Is that right? Why doesn't the smart contract do the sell for me in that case? Is it because I'm being jewed of LINK and they're trying to hide it?

It won't be as proftiable since the rewards are an incentive to attract more liquidity. But more liquidity also means more fees, so I assume that providing liquidity will still be attractive in the future.
