If you want single sided exposure there are plenty of vaults that already offer that either directly or indirectly through collateralized stablecoins. Bancor is playing an unsustainable rewards game. I understand the idea, attract the providers and then have that liquidity to attract traders. But it will always cost more to trade Eth->BNT->X than Eth->X. And there is nothing stopping Uni or Sushi from offering single asset staking for Eth pairs as long as the community is willing to take on long term exposure to Eth.
