the 2 validators who went offline want 6 million in Monaro send to an address
they are giving the fantom foundation 4 days
if they don't get the money by then they will double spend the network multiple times

Michael said the foundation does not have the funds to cover the the ransom
they are planning to do a community fund raiser to cover this unseen expense

its a failsafe lock, things are already getting fixed behind the scenes, the network did what it was designed to do in the event of a malicious node, but it wasn't actually malicious, things are stable and they're going to lower max stake caps so this doesn't happen again and lower the entry requirements to run a node as well
