All you have to do is come to with a strategy, backrest the shit out of it and tweak until it's profitable, and stick to it without letting emotions become involved in any of your trades. You definitely don't need to be at all as it's not a very physical job, although I'd been bodybuilding for just over 2 years when I was hired, so perhaps the appearance of my frame was the deciding factor for how I got the job. I work with people of varying shapes and sizes.

Qualification is just a security license that's earned from an easy 3 week course. I should mention that you need to run your paperwork through the police so they can put your details on record and ensure you've never been involved with any serious criminal activity as you need a clean record.

Thanks Anon. Living in a very low cost of living area (rural Ohio) and having no debt + paid off house and car helps. I could stretch that $150,000 into about 5 years of living expenses if I absolutely had to. If I included house, land, and car in my net worth it's closer to $750,000.

I don't have any formal schooling for this and can't really recommend any books, everything you need to know you can learn for free on the internet. Literally all of my knowledge came from a litany of random websites, message boards, and YouTube videos. Be wary of anyone offering to sell you courses or guaranteeing profit, if they're really a decent day trader they wouldn't need the income from selling "courses" or whatever other snake oil they offer. My advice for you is to take it slow and learn as much as you possibly can before playing with real money. I did paper trading (fake money/practice account) for a full year before I invested any real cash, and that experience made all the difference. You can be profitable part time for sure if you can be active during the most active hours for the market. 90% of my trading happens between 9:30am and 11:00am. I can't stress enough the importance of removing emotions from the equation altogether to be successful at this, and being patient/educating yourself.

I'll be 31 in a few months. Never thought I'd be this comfy/free at this age. I can up and fuck off somewhere for 2 weeks or even longer at the drop of a hat (in fact did this fairly recently, went on a mule packing trip out west for 10 days and had an absolute blast) or just hang out in the barn with my horses all day when I'm feeling shitty, and that freedom is amazing.

I'm doing a PhD in maths, I get paid basically fuck all, at the moment I am taking two months off (unpaid) due to lockdown because I am just sick of everything. I used to make money to pay all my bills and expenses with 3D printing but now I am doing it with crypto and I have started to learn forex trading, I am digging the idea of working for myself at home in my underpants for the rest of my life, but I don't know how realistic that is. I really envy those bitcoin millionaire types, not even because of the money, but the freedom and security, my family is poor as hell and I live in one of the poorest parts of the UK to keep costs down while studying. I would love to have long term financial security, so I'm currently seeing how smart I really am by applying forex methods to crypto, so far I tripled my account in the space of a week, no buy and hold, just swing trading based on the usual meme lines etc. I already know someone who does this and his income is disgustingly large so I am confident the ability can be developed to pull money from these markets on a whim, it's just a case of whether or not I can do it personally. I am starting to pick out low cap coins I will be rolling my profits into for long term holding, but this means reading lots of whitepapers etc.

I just wish I could skip ahead 12 months and see how this is actually going to turn out for me
