If you are bullish on metals it's good to get at least some physical because there is no counterparty risk and you will benefit from the bull market. I think it's really one of the most important things when building a miner portfolio is to look for geographical diversification for mitigation of political risk. It's hard in silver tho, since so many silver miners are located in Mexico. But that's why I really like Dolly Varden and Silver One for example, because they are outside of Mexico. Bonds are the other way around, high yields indicate that less people are willing to buy at the actual price.
Say you bought a $100 treasury bond with a 1% rate, government pays you $1 as interest.
