1.4k stacklet with a goal of 5k by EOY

>> No.29631912

>>29630185
Wish there was a legit thread on this. The tool bags on here like to tell people not to delegate who hold less than 5K.

Legit thought they just want to keep the delegations low so the APY stays up.

if it's anything like staking on compound you get ass raped in fees. From what I understand GRT is different though. This is what happened when I staked my $300 worth of BAT on compound.

>send to metamask wallet ~$5-15
>supply your token to liquidity ~$30-100
>a small percentage of your supply gets burned
>if you want to withdraw comp token interest ~$30-100
>if you want to use your staked token as collateral ~$30-100
>if you want to then actually borrow another token ~30-100

again I think its different for GRT but people who have messed around in defi are probably the ones warning

I'm stuck with mine. Just started this crypto rabbit hole 11 days ago. Bought 50 GRT @$2.30 (All I could afford) then the market crashes. So I figure just hold them and wait. Got nothing to lose.

Doubt it. They know that the incentives are what keep indexers in the game. They say stuff like that because they don't want people co-opting a useful token with shill candlestick bullshit.

To quote an anon who posted this one week ago today
>No, the supply fud impacting token price is actually dumb. Look at the chart you posted, the new supply isn't getting public sale, it's going to early backers and advisors, i.e. likely indexers and people who hand long terms visions for the second best project in defi. The supply fud may impact delegation returns, so 5-10% instead of 15-20%. And that's only until the demand for new subgraphs increases. This is a 3-5 year hold minimum and you need to delegate and buy up to whatever stack you need in order to make delegation profitable in gas fees.
