So now our formula is $1,000,000,000,000,000USD / (90,000,000,000"silver equivalent"+50,000,000,000silver) = $7,142/oz for silver, or x15 = $107,142/oz for gold, in current USD equivalent value.

TLDR: If the world were to change overnight to PM gold/silver stadard backed fiat, the equivalent value would be $7k/oz for silver and $107k/oz for gold.

I actually split the difference and reload Hornady 62gr fmj bullets (not greentips). I get the full fragmentation effects of a FMJ bullet vs a green-tip, and the higher bc of the 62gr bullet vs a 55gr.

The problem is that you aren't accounting for tail risk. Taking out a mortgage to buy a house doesn't have as much tail risk because A) the loan is secured by the property, B) short sales are a pain in the ass for the bank so they'll cooperate with you, and C) the underlying land has a value floor. You'd have to work real hard to fuck that floor value up. Like, the lot my house sits on would sell for the amount left on my mortgage, probably.

Silver mines on the other hand have none of those things. What if you take out a loan and buy silver miners at a silver spot price of $30 and silver crashes to $10 and stays there for years? A lot of those miners are going to be tits-up, your value floor is $0 and you still have a loan to repay.
