Lets say I cashed out my mega millions after "making it" from crypto, but I refuse to pay capital gain taxes from doing so.

What's the worst that would happen?

How many millionaires do you know of that actually got in any trouble for not paying taxes?

you hear a lot of news about it, but nothing ever comes it. They either always get a slap on the wrist or do stuff behind the scenes where the IRS gives up.

Those laws are for poor people. Once you become a member of the protected class, that shit no longer applies to you.

I’m not 100% on this but I’ve heard some high IQ HINWIs mention putting their assets on the books of an LLC they created for some reason. Probably missing a step or two

any accountant or lawyer you hire can snitch on you for a reward. Cash is harder to track if you buy gold in one place and sell it somewhere else, but research the amount of gold you can sell before the seller is required to report the sell. Lying to the feds is a much more serious crime than not paying or under paying your taxes. Martha stewart went to prison because she lied to the feds during the investigation, not because of insider trading. Never talk to the feds, direct them to your lawyer.

Do Americans also have to pay taxes in the USA if they move to another country? Otherwise just move to Portugal to enjoy tax free gainzy. Also im Germany you don’t have to Pay taxes on crypto if you keep them at least 1 year (but it’s a pretty bad shithole if you don’t live in the Southern Part of the Country).
