Yup. And guns. Believe it or not the guns and the right to be armed in the US will not go away silently. They will come for them and I don't think that the people will fight it by taking up the arms but the number of lost/stolen guns will magically go x100.
I was thinking to move back to Europe for a short bit when a madness overtook me and one thing that stop me was the guns.
The country is huge and has a lot of land that is made to hide on. I think that moving to a good state and congregate there will become a new cool thing to do because of this.
I'm preparing to buy land in Tennessee and have a house in Louisiana as well. Again, I'm expecting the worst while hoping for the best

Anon I was born and raised in Europe and I think exactly the same.
People who never had to deal with truly totalitarian regime don't understand just how important being armed is. This is the most important fight of our lives. They will come for these because the social contract died on November 3rd last year. They have no other option but to go a full totalitarian regime here. I hope that the people act smart and don't rise up when they aren't ready but it looks to me like they are being pushed to start a half assed rebellion that is going to get crushed. Our overlords actually expect this and it's fucking obvious.

if you get italian bees they should be fairly docile. russians are a bit more aggressive and africanized bees (killer bees) aggression is implied by the name. they make suits that can totally protect you, and using a smoker helps calm/confuse them.

propolis is awesome. the raw stuff can soothe tooth pain better than clove oil, the tincture good for immune health but I dunno if it's as good as polypore mushrooms. on wounds, honey dessicates bacteria and weakens them by osmotic pressure. it also reacts with the skin/blood to produce hydrogen peroxide.

it's not just honey though, it's everything. I don't wanna brag about my skills like a jackass, but basically it's entirely possible to feed a family indefinitely on a quarter acre if you do it right.

If there’s a short squeeze on silver, all the banks will fail. Every single one. Eight of them are short silver and they would have to pay trillions to cover shorts if silver got to triple digits. The entire financial system will be destroyed if you do this. Silver is to the banks what GME is to Melvin Capital. Is this what you want to happen when we’re in the middle of a pandemic? >absolutely brag about what you are doing
lol right now I'm trying to stack cash for a beat-up half-cape on ~ 5 rural acres. my grandparents have a half acre with cottage in a 99% white town. so currently I'm focusing my efforts there, toning it down a bit because grandma is the final arbiter of the property's landscape.

last year I planted 5 fruit trees: pear, 2x crabapple, and 2x pawpaw. probably about 10 bushes including raspberry, blackberry, hazelnut, blueberry, and wild-harvested bilberry from a nearby area. built 4 new garden beds including hugelkultur herb spiral, 2x crabapple guild, cleared a pile of debris, and tended an existing bed built on request to break down a cedar stump. I rendered a downed cedar tree and am in the process of building a fancy coffee table for indoors and a small arbor for hardy kiwi and grapes (forget which variety rn but it'll be one with leaves big enough to make dolma). this is all on the developed 0.25 acre and is fairly sparse considering grandma's wishes for the property.

on the undeveloped half, I'm experimenting with inoculating birch saplings with chanterelle mushroom spawn and forming a mycorrhizal symbiosis, to have a small chanterelle-bearing birch grove. then I want to clear a path and line it with inoculated shiitake logs and drop spawn down under the path itself, covered by woodchips. my brother wants to start beekeeping there but I worry about his ability to pay, his intelligence, and the neighbors' tolerance of bees. lots of NIMBY type old people who are dying and being replaced by new wealth faggots. for example one jackass literally pays contractors to comb the beach so the sand looks even. fucking moron.

obviously on my own property, it'd be this times 10, food everywhere, some ducks or similar small livestock, and a well (common in the areas i'm looking)

based, thx. these new money people are such niggers. one guy built a house on marshland near the town landing. not only that, he put a gazebo on a raised porch, meaning the whole thing is lopsided. eco-disaster waiting to happen.

the other nigger with the beach-combing slaves bought a cottage for $1 million in a private sale and tried to sue us because he thought "private beach" meant it was his own personal exclusive beach, rofl. he saw the original deeds, and our lawyer who also owns property in the neighborhood told him to fuck off and stop being a faggot. so he built a shitty pier on top of an existing beautiful granite jetty and put a little ~*~private~*~ sign on it. but of course the law requires that it be public access so there's also an official harbormaster sign clearly saying it's public. we don't use it because that guy is such a dumb nigger. the kicker: he lives in connecticut and occupies the house for 2 weeks max every year.

native perennials, my man. can't go wrong with them. if you transplant them, it'll look like they died the first year but worry not. if the roots are in the ground, they'll be back the next year. after 3 years you're set.

also: find a mushroom farmer and buy composted spawn from him for like $10 a bag. best fertilizer you could ask for and sometimes you get volunteer mushroom crops. sometimes I sail out to a lowkey marsh and while I'm bathing in the mud (excellent for skin), I scoop a quart of marsh mud. deposit it around the roots, let it dry, and powder it. it'll jumpstart anything and is especially good for blueberries/bilberries that thrive in acidic soil.

A well hidden stash spot in or outside your house. I have a fire box with important papers and a baggie of junk silver and random foreign coins. I leave the key in the lock of the fire box so that a burglar will open the box and leave my paperwork rather than carrying the heavy bastard off. They'll take my baggie of coins and won't look for more.

Safes might be theft proof. They might be bolted to the foundation. They might have 2000 pounds of scrap metal in them. But they aren't proof against Tyrone and the boys sitting you down and making you open it. A safe signals valuable shit, and the bigger/badder the safe, the more valuable it is. Cell phone cameras are everywhere and even the dumbest burglar might decide to take a picture of your safe and share with his buddies.

My stash spot is not on the below list but I would be happy with any of these:
>buried in the dirt under the crawlspace
>inside a working appliance
>inside a wall behind a cable outlet, bonus if it works
>inside a wall behind a medicine cabinet

The only way Silver goes up in a notably meaningful way is if physical supply is low. Tackling the physical supply drives miners up, silver spot price up, and PSLV up. You can buy all the miners you want, and all the PSLV you want, and I would recommend that for building a balanced PM-based portfolio, but at the end of the day the Silver market is different BECAUSE it's physical.

Silver will never go to $50 by buying up miners and PSLV alone. PSLV at least helps, but at the end of the day it's still paper.

Think of it like this. You buy at ~32/oz right now because of premiums. Let's look at the possible scenarios.

>spot goes up, premiums go up
You bought for cheaper, good job.
>spot goes down, premiums go down
You buy more to level out your costs
>silver crashes down to $10, everything is fucked
You can buy more for way cheaper

Right now, this is the market. Premiums are high because there's a decoupling of spot and physical prices. The more people buy, the less the supply. The lower the supply, the higher the premiums. If you're that concerned over premiums, just buy War Nickels for like $1.70 over spot, or buy PSLV.

Bullion is bullion. If you buy from a reputable dealer, the chances they got scammed is minuscule and in the long run probably worth the risk. I like to have assorted shapes and sizes. Rounds/coins will be the most common in the small weights, bars are easier for larger weights. I think the main concern is having an assortment of weight so you can pay with fractional amounts of money.

What are you going to do if the fair trade for something is 1-9/10oz and you only have bigger sizes and the dealer does not have suitable change?

I'm not saying don't diversify into miners and PSLV, because as I said I believe them to be good investments in their own rights, but I do not believe you should just not ever buy any physical, which is what the guy originally said. PSLV can crash on their own infrastructure, and so can miners. Sure PSLV has history of being solid, but like any stock or any investment in any group, it can fail. The only difference is what the people trust. I think that Apmex bars are recognized as trustworthy and usually are a bit cheaper. The Chinks also don't fake these as much. There is a difference depending on what do we expect economy wise. If it crashes like Venezuela (which was a slow decline for years and then the collapse) then coins will be "worth" a little more because of the trust of the public.
Basically if you just starting and don't have a lot of money I would tell you to buy ars from a reputable place.
Later on buy coins locally, for cash so it's harder to track what you have. The government will try to come for Silver and gold. This I'm almost certain of if the collapse happens but they will go after the biggest holders first.
If no collapse then it really doesn't matter and I would still buy bars since Silver is Silver is silver.
People with bigger stacks have even .999 jewelry. Everything that's pure silver.
Also domes, quarters aka small junk are a good way to stack.

Gentlemen.. always check the JM Bullion and Provident pages to see if their starter packs ever come back up for sale.. I got one last year..

10 x 1 oz rounds and bag for SPOT.

https://www.jmbullion.com/starter-pack/

https://www.providentmetals.com/buy-silver-at-spot-price.html

Personally I like the Provident pack (they are the same company Provident and JM Bullion) because prospectors on the round and the detail..

I have them on my homepages so they always open up when I open my browser..

They make money out of refining, that's true but they don't just do that and call it a day.
They also buy and sell rounds and coins in general. Also sell the jewelry that they buy for scrap from the dealers without refining it. This is how I make my money with a local "refiner". I buy their scrap before it's melted. It ain't Apmex or Kitco but they work with these too.
I think you don't exactly know what you are talking about.

if you don't have winter, it's not a problem. the freeze/thaw cycle is great but not necessary for decomposition. I'd pack the soil around the logs a bit looser and leave plenty of room for aeration so you don't get too much anaerobic fermentation though.

Swing trading is a dangerous game even in normal markets, and borderline suicidal in the clown market. If you absolutely must take profits wait for it to go 2x from your buy in then sell half to cover your cost basis, but don’t sell the whole position. Even better would be to educate yourself about options and use those for claiming profit while hodling your miners till $50+ silver, but that takes actual effort so most people won’t bother.

Unfortunately it's possible. Shouldn't be but it is. Pure silver leaves black marks on my skin and alloys when they are with nickel(that I'm more allergic to) are horrible. They make a rash that bleeds if one is too stubborn to take it off.
One never knows what they fucking put in these alloys. Old silver is usually alloyed with copper and that's it, but the new ones? Nickel is cheap and on top of this they plate it with it. Cadmium, lead, others. Especially the Chink alloys are fucking God knows what.
It's more probable that this anon is allergic to some other shit, not Silver. As far as I know the allergy to Silver is pretty damn rare. I didn't start being allergic until I had screws put in my spine after the surgery. Now some Gold alloys leave marks on my skin.
>>29583638
Often what they sell as Rhodium plate is simply nickel plate. It's not that they lied, they've been lied to most likely.
I understand you are returning it so you won't test it but if you have anything that you know is nickel rub it on your skin. It should leave marks if you are allergic to nickel. Nickel plate looks very much like Rhodium plate anon. Very shiny. I wasn't joking about sending you a sterling chain neither.

refiners sell product, often to comex. why would they ever buy back product they sold to comex? That's a guaranteed way to lose money. You are not their customer, comex is. Anon, buy silver Krugerrands. They aren't the cheapest, that would be buffaloes/sunshine mint/apmex/etc generic rounds. But they are cheaper than ASEs and Maples and in the same ballpark of other cheaper silver. JMBullion has them for 33-36 dollar range. Probably 36 if you are paying with credit card and just picking up a few ounces. They have only been minted since 2017 and like their gold counterparts look to be fetching a decent premium. When I looked at the 2017/2018 ones the other day they were about 20 bucks over spot. Hold onto them for five years or whatever and if you decide to sell, then you should be able to get your money back and maybe even a small profit. Of course, this assumes the price doesn't drop to like five bucks or somethin, in that case just hold for another five years. Just sayin, picking up a few isn't going to hurt you.

I'm not the public and do business with a refiner that also sells to the public, mostly coins. They do all that on top of refining. Buy from dealers, sell to dealers, refine. Buy from the mint and all other sources that they can get and sell to the public. It's like a coin store on top of being a refiner. They deal with the dealers absolutely but they also sell to the public. The refiners that you think of are the thing of the past. Nobody simply does business like this anymore.
Would you call Kitco a refiner? Because sure as fuck they are a refiner on top of other things and they do deal with the public. I'm not sure of Kitco buys from Comex but it would not surprise me if they do.

It sounds to me anon like you may be allergic to Silver. That's sucks but is not absolutely tragic. The problem is that the white gold is often created with nickel/rhodium plating. The only thing I could advise is to buy gold with platinum plating. It will be white and I doubt you are allergic to platinum. I feel your pain because I'm allergic to Silver as well. Started wearing gold/platinum shit. Unless you can find platinum plated silver, which I wasn't able to find nickel plating is often passed as Rhodium plate so you risk it.
If you were allergic to nickel dealing with other metals would be a dead giveaway so it looks to me it may be Silver.
Do you have any pure silver coins/bars? Try to rub it on your skin. They are basically pure and would be the way to check for sure.

you're painfully ignorant. You may indeed know a refiner that deals with the public and sells coins, but in real life that's a mint, not a refiner. That mint might also be a refiner but they're probably not. Those are 2 very separate business models and they don't mix well.

Maybe you should ask /x/. Many beings are allergic to silver:
While the idea that silver wards off vampires is thought to be Christian, the use of silver as a means to deter or ward off evil exists in Islamic, Hindu, Egyptian, and Eastern European cultures as well. In Greek mythology alone, silver is mentioned just about as often as gold, the most notable being the silver-tipped bows and lances of the Goddess Artemis.

If it's any consolidation, UPS took less than 2 days from Canada to their distribution center next to my little euro town, but their driver just didn't deliver shit today. Tracking still says my delivery window is 12 to 17 today, but it's 8 in the evening now.
Weird. Normally, UPS is always here mid-afternoon.

You are so kind lol, thank you very much fren. I'm going to follow your advice and invest in blue laggon then.
But still, i'd like to get back in BHS too, for now i can't buy back the 10K shares i lost, but do you believe there will be another opportunity of a dip for me to get back in if i'm patient, or should i bite the bullet now with the little money i've left?

I now i'm kinda asking you to be an oracle, but it's just that you are so much more knowledgeable than me on the matter... Above all i don't want to miss the megamoon mission, but i'm not sure we are quite there yet so i don't want to be too emotional.

I actually felt so bad about you that I stopped shilling Bayhorse on /smg/ for two hours hoping that the price would go down, haha. I think that the cat's out of the bag as regards Bayhorse, it might go down (and then everybody would start rushing in and calling me a pump and dumper) but especially if silver keeps going up it's going to keep soaring. I still think that the current price of Bayhorse is good, but obviously it's frightening to buy something which looks so parabolic especially after you sold low by accident and have to buy back higher. But BLLG is extremely undervalued and I don't think you can possibly go wrong with that stock.
