Daily Reminder that there are more than 2 metals
Inb4 COMEX shill. You can buy as much silver as you want

Chart depicts crustal abundance on LOGARITHMIC scale
Rarity + a decent number of applications = GUARANTEED GAINS no matter current price

>Yellow/PGEs are top-tier
>Blue/REMs are expensive because of low recyclability. However, new tech could ameliorate this like how Aluminum became dirt cheap to extract
>Red industrial metals are okay for owning stonks

PHYSICAL TIER LIST V4
>S
- Iridium - 2nd rarest, relatively low price, 2x last 2 years, still discovering uses
- Rhodium - automobiles, 10x last 2 years; however may be lower in future as cars become electric
>A
- Osmium - rarest, 1/3 the cost of Iridium, still discovering uses
- Rhenium - automobiles, aerospace, reasonably low price
- Ruthenium - electronics, aerospace, & medicine
- Silver - low cost, incoming COMEX default pump, many applications, widespread use
>B
- Gold - ultimate store of wealth, eternal, stable value
- REMs - rare because of low recyclability, good but few applications
>C
- Platinum - GOING UP!
- Palladium - volatile price yet minimal gains
- Indium - equal rarity to silver, electronics
>D
- Mercury - hard to get acquire/hold, fewer applications due to toxicity
- Bismuth - various applications, pretty

thats a slick sample mate, heres one of mine from the wells region.

Speciem consists of banded altered pyrites sandwiched between layers of quartz. Now this wasnt a normal quartz vein though, this started out as a quartzite bedding layer that also had limestones interbedded though it. The rock was squished under intense pressure forming a new layer cake rock, which than was remineralized by pyrite, than gold again at a later date. This ore than was up thrust to the surface in mountain building and became weathered, releasing gold particles.

No, of course not anon, you misunderstand my meaning. Bayhorse isn't a scam. The incessant and endless shilling that's been happening from silver the kike anon for the past month about Bayhorse and his fellow shills that it's a no brainer easy 100x and comex default imminent incoming IS the scam. It's been getting shilled on here, on /pol/, even on reddit, with his bite-sized fomo talking points. That's what I'm saying. The kike is trying to generate mass fomo price action on a very low mcap stock to get his quick cash in at everyone else's expense, and it absolutely is at everyone else's expense since they're all fomo'ing into it a now volatile stock at heightened prices from sudden and wild swings upward. Organic price action, wonderful. This obvious fomo #silversqueeze #comexdefaultincoming "get on the train NOW before it leaves" sudden mass shill campaign this past month, not so wonderful. It just introduces a bunch of suckered retail investors who are likely gonna get burned and holding a bag, and creates a volatile stock that most smart investors will stay away from for a while now until it settles down. Between it being a low mcap, a legitimate operation and good low cap stock, and the normie craze about silver the past month, it's the perfect storm for a pump.

It's a sample from my property I did a trip to recently, I got this from a big pile next to an old shaft, the shaft was partially collapsed and probably about 10/15m deep with a small headframe over it.

My theory is since the pile was on flat ground close to the shaft it might of been their ore pile, this one i grabbed because it looks like it's got an airleg hole in it so hopefully it was directly into an ore vein so will give me an indicator if anything good is hiding down there, gonna try and get it off to assay lab tomorrow asap.

the stock is a smallcap stock, but i doubt the amount of $$ /pmg/ and a couple mentions on /pol/ will be enough to "moon" the stock artificially. Bayhorse is going up because silver recently went up from 25/oz to 27.80/oz. that is over a 10% increase in silver spot, so naturally Bayhorse, being a silver miner leveraged to the price of silver, has gone up too

i bought fudhorse at .08 and sold it later at .08. if it dips back down to .08, i dont know that I would buy Bayhorse - there are probably some other producers that i would prefer.

I don't really understand the true bull case for Bayhorse... its a small mine w/ some really high grade silver that they're not big enough to get out of the ground that quickly. it is a safe jurisdiction though, thats nice. anyone want to FOMO me back into Bayhorse?

You WILL get shortsqueezed and you WILL default on deliveries. It's only a matter of time.

All the numbers are here, out in the open for everyone to see, it's a mathematic inevitability, and us being early doesn't make it wrong. We are like Michael Burry when he shorted the CDS/CDO in 2006. Yes it took 2 years, yes it was a hard and painful lonely trip for him, but in the hand he was right. The banks collapsed, the whole systemic fraud was exposed, and he made astronomical gains.

I have introduced PMG to multiple mining companies which others have then independently researched and found to be viable investment opportunities. See Pan Man’s inclusion of Rockhaven Resources in his latest “mining stocks to watch” list, silver miner anon’s mentioning of Starcore International as a prime example of a very undervalued small-cap producer, and multiple anons sharing that they appreciate my introducing Boab Metals to PMG. I have also brought up a number of interesting microcap drill plays which warrant following in 2021, including CMC Metals, Tri Origin Exploration, and Origen Resources. PMG functions best when we all are bringing something to the table. The very nature of microcaps make them susceptible to volatility, but therein lies the value proposition, as serious investors who have educated themselves about this industry and are willing to do the requisite research into these companies can see enormous gains if they’re willing to undertake the risk. But even BHS probably hasn’t been moved as much as you might think from PMG fanfare. It still take a significant amount of buying to markedly move a company’s market cap like what you’re describing, over and above what PMG anons have so far demonstrated to be capable of (unless there are a great many lurkers who have been buying and just simply not been posting about it). So again, I welcome you to share with us other mining stocks that you like.

Wasn't there an acquisition deal that fell through?
I think GOLD and PAAS are the designated hedgie holds for gold and silver miners. They swooped in off momentum back in July of last year and left it in some absurd oversold conditions.
I mean I wouldn't go all in on it but there are quite a few of those commodity value plays that seem to defy gravity with their undervaluations (the sectors as a whole are for the most part as well). I was sitting on Suncor for months before it started getting interest again.

Indeed there was one acquisition who was cancelled, but it was because it became too pricey due the the copper mooning, i see it more like a wise decision from barrick, they stayed cold headed instead of FOMOing in. They still are pretty decently sized in the copper gamu though.

physical is for preserving wealth; mining stocks are for growing wealth - understand the difference. you can lose money with mining stocks but you will never lose money buying physical gold

if you're a poorfag i would start with silver because you get more metal for your money and once it's in your hands - its very satisfying and will encourage you to keep growing that stack.
once you get some more money, you will want gold because it takes up less space and condenses more wealth into a small form factor and is easier to hide / transport and gold is less volatile than silver

all the OP is trusted sellers. i've used apmex, jm bullion, sd bullion... just never use ebay or craigslist or some shit. you can always go to your local coin shop / bullion dealer and buy from them in person too. just shop around for the lowest premiums. get the most metal for your money and dont buy coins with fancy designs on them if they're more expensive. don't buy collectible coins either - those are for collectors, not investors. good luck

I'll give it straight to you anon: you're going to make it. The fact that you're here and asking all the right questions is one sure sign. The other is that you want to help your friends and family.

At the moment the ratio favours silver. It's also the cheapest, and has the highest upside potential for the near future. Further down the line you can pick up some gold or platinum to diversify your stack.

Nothing beats owning physical metals, so this should be your number 1 priority. Pick up some classic recognisable coins from your national mint (America silver eagles, Britannias, krugerrands). Some good links in the OP, alternatively I've had good results with ebay. Once you have a nice little stack you can add to it with the "savings" percentage of your paychecks. Top tip: save first, spend the rest - not the other way around. Buy a nice safe for your treasure trove and keep it hidden. Don't go bragging. Happy hunting, go get some shinies.

That's something I'm wondering about:
Why do all our resident doomers never talk about that?
Sure, your mercs will get you those blowjobs by your desidred LGBTQIAlphabet-soup housewifes, but let's be honest:
Before SRHTF, you're more likely to just flee to greener pastures, likely just with a normal passenger plane. And it's gonna get really hard to explain to the security good what all those large pieces of metal in your luggage are.
With gold, you just buy a bunch of small rounds/coins (so, no bars or 1Oz coins, sorry, you gotta eat the premium) and put them in your wallet. Will just look like normal spare cash in the X-ray. You can probably go up to 1/2 Oz to stay in normal coin sizes, so you can easily carry more than 10k$ in your pocket.

Copper is well outpacing oil, and both are 98% driven by industrial demand. Or it could mean oil is going to have a face ripping rally. That would also set off all kinds of inflation alarms.
>I thought the soibois hype on muh EVs + gubment regulations would prop up these metals, or is it already priced in to your opinion?
Yep, also that EVs represent a rounding error of the volume needed by industry. Lithium is one of the more abundant commodities on the planet. Some mines have decades worth of global supply by themselves. It is mostly driven entirely by clueless speculators riding the TSLA bubble.
>>29556348
PMs are not a speculative investment and you might be better off with trying to grow your assets with a small holding of PMs that you just build very slowly over time. The premiums (% of "added price" over spot) right now of platinum and silver are ridiculous.
Honestly, I think at this stage you'd be better off just visiting a local coin store and getting a feel for what is out there. Also doesn't hurt to become a regular since some dealers will give you discounts especially on low volume items well below anything you might find online.
If you want to hold some PMs now for "cheap" the best bet would be junk silver. These are alloyed silver coins that were historically used AS money. They aren't pure silver (a reflection of money printing throughout history) but you will usually get prices that are MUCH closer to spot.
Do read up on the kinds of junk silver out there. It is easy to mix them up.

I was mostly considering silver because of that meme someone made by basing it's true value today on the price of prostitutes in ancient times lmfao, they said it was severely undervalued. I do believe it's undervalued but idk about it being $4000/oz as they suggested, especially with considering whores today think they're all special and unique and that's why they charge so high.

I would go around the surface with a small pick in hand looking for mineralized outcrop or overburden or surface showings that indicate mineralization at depth (that you could find in literature about historical work in the region).

Total amateur take but that's about it. Look at 911 Mining & Prospecting's youtube videos for an idea of what to look for if you're totally clueless. Great videos, taught me almost all I know about prospecting (though I don't know too much in the first place I admit)

I went to the coin shop today. When I went during the silver short they straight up weren't selling. So I called to see if they resumed silver sales. Stupid question I guess. I was treated like a true autist. I was appalled at the deep amber, crimson red, arctic blue, and magenta toned silver the first lady showed me. How do you guys store your stack? No way in hell I want some ugly nigger tier silver decades from now.

Ebay is the best place to buy metals for cheap if you know what you're doing. Since you're starting out, I'd advise to stick with the bullion dealers and then try getting the hang of buying on ebat. Most bullion dealers also sell on ebay, and so far orders on ebay have been delivered much faster than orders on their own website.

If possible try to familiarize yourself with the "macro scale" activity of the region too, for example if it's located on a belt try to see if you can find out where the younger and older parts on the surface are, and if you can try to find out toward which direction and with what angle the stratigraphy is dipping. For example if there are steep cliffs in the north showing rock zones dipping slightly to the south, you could infer that you can find the same kind of layering underneath the surface towards south more. Again, literature written by a geo would be optimal to find because that is a lot of work. Try to see if you can:

1) understand where mineralization has been recorded before
2) what host rock it was on
3) in what ore the mineralization was (e.g. gold in pyrite)
4) the layering of the rocks, so that you can estimate where and how deep the right host rock is

yeah so there are travel restrictions, i think you have to declare if you're transporting more than 10k$ USD.

but with gold it can also be disguised as jewelry. you could have a 1oz bracelet and a 1 oz ring that no one will think is suspicious. you could have a gold chain that weighs 1-2 oz. then you could bring a few gold coins along to maximize the amount of gold on your person without raising suspicion

I'd suggest after you've got your first bullion, learn how to test it for authenticity.
Ebay leans much more towards the buyers side in disputes.
