That’s not how price works retail. If a company is worth 1000 dollars and someone buys a 1000 dollars of the stock the market cap doesn’t go to 2000 dollars. Price is set by how much of the existing stock is being sold at what asking price. Bitcoin is at 1 trillion. If I market bought 5 billion id increase bitcoins market cap by way more than .5%. There is not a 1:1 relationship between market cap and invested dollars.
