I placed an order there a week ago for some Britannias, because of that recommendation. I was quoted a 6-8 week delay before delivery. I'm still waiting for that order.
A few days ago I ordered the same Britannia coins from The Royal Mint. They were in stock and at a lower price. They shipped the next day and I received them today.

Investors are nice and happy when the treasury yield moves at a steady pace. A couple days ago it jumped up on the longer ends (10+ years). This lead to a bunch of treasury traders to buy a bunch of insurance policies on their treasury bonds, which means that the "expected volatility" for the treasury market went up which means there is a lot less confidence in the current discount rate than their as a week ago. This leads to every other market getting worried about its value because if bond traders are worried, every else should be shitting bricks. This is why ARK etfs were down over 12% at open today and why bitcoin went from 57,000 to 45,000, nothing to do with tether. All of this is the only rational thing the market has done in a while.

The gold sell off is caused by that and then the banks also throw a little on the fire to make a few more quick bucks

IMO we aren't going to see this "expected treasury volatility" turn into "realized treasury volatility". My thesis for this is that bitcoin and other retard risk assets are going to move up very sharply again because they are all essentially short treasury volatility trades and their movements perfectly match what you would see in a "short implied treasury vol" trade. Once it is clear that the expected bout of vol isn't going to happen, their prices shoot up because they have essentially captured that premium, just in a different way. BTC is the penultimate of this trade because you can't print BTC like you can TSLA shares or more treasury puts.
