Monero is incredible and will become one of the most important projects of the century if they can maintain privacy in an era of forced KYC and bringing people’s identity on-chain. Monero is most peoples’ hedge against the market crashing as people will still look to move value anonymously regardless of if the crypto space (DeFi, tokenized assets, Ethereum L1/L2 network) succeeds or not.

It’s yet to hit its ATH this year and long term will likely be a 4-5 digit asset. As for satoshi’s vision, he never calls for anonymity (in fact transparency is one of the selling points of forcing big business and banks onto the blockchain) but it’s certainly one of the best projects on the market that doesn’t need to make ridiculous claims to bolster its value.
