I know you can just lock in your gains when the market dips, but what happens if the value locked becomes higher than the actual value in crypto and a malevolent actor decides it's more profitable to attack the trezor network than Bitcoin nodes? Are the trezor nodes sufficiently sybil resistant? As we've just seen with the tether not being backed by a full reserve, what's to say that trezor locked in funds won't go insolvent in case of another flash crash and they just pull the rug with all my metamask airdrops and mined linkies?

Take it easy man, your coins are stored inside the trezor but i read somewhere that the maximum memory of the device is like 8GB so be careful storing too much coins inside it because can cause a overflow and spread your coins to the trezor network.

Just bought this solely to lock in my BTC, is it an app like ledger has? I can’t figure this out, I’m on the latest firmware, do I do it on the software or the hardware itself?

cope. don't come crying when you lose everything thanks to the weak security of their network. there were warnings a long time ago.

"not your blockchain, not your keys"
WHy would you even store your bit coins on a decentralized network you don't control yourself? The whales can just pull a 51% attack and fuck you over.

need to update to the latest firmware just recompile the code from github yourself to be sure

i've tried submitting fixes but they just ignore them. look at the commits from a few months ago... their supposed "fixes" are just a joke.
