Yeah, its really weird that they don't seem to get that Boomers by and large aren't exposed to anything in PMs. At most they may have some money in gold Roth or some exposure to COMEX ETFs through some fund they're in, but that's usually it. Having an old sock full of peace dollars is a silent gen thing more than a boomer one. Its almost like the term 'boomer rocks' was invented by some people very good at memetic warfare that wanted to corral midwits into the cryto space and socially shame them from wanting actual gold to go along with their 'digital gold'.

But surely, no one would even use engineered consensus and shaming tactics to steer investment perceptions. That could never happen.

"Did you know that the average penny silver stock went up 150 times in price, when the price of silver merely doubled? Think about that for a moment. The AVERAGE penny silver stock—I'm not talking about one or two stocks here—the AVERAGE one—went up 150 TIMES—when silver merely DOUBLED. One company, Coeur d'Alene, even went up 1000x! Does this sound unbelievable to you? Well, trust me, it’s really true. It happened between 1962 and 1968, and similar things have taken place in subsequent silver bull markets. The data is common knowledge among academics, and is right there to read in Doug Casey’s 1980 classic economics book “Crisis Investing.”

Bayhorse Silver (TSXV: BHS; OTCBB: KXPLF; FSE: 7KXN) is one of the only penny silver stocks which can DEMONSTRABLY go 100x from here at $60 silver. This is on the basis of imminent production (1.3 million ounces per year) and future cash flow (cost per ounce as low as $7) at a 30x cash-flow valuation, vs present market cap, which is minuscule—only $20 million! At $60 silver, you could turn a $1000 investment into $100,000. At $1000 silver, Bayhorse might go 2000x—you could turn $1000 into $2 million!

$60 silver is obviously inevitable. But what’s more, the COMEX is going to break, imminently. 20-day deliveries of 10.4 million from 02/19/21 are the highest amount ever over the past 20 years. If that breakage happens, silver could go anywhere, from $500 to $5000. Where is the price of Bayhorse then? Don’t miss the opportunity of a lifetime in BHS! We’re still at rock bottom, and, without exaggeration, this investment might be bigger than 2011 Bitcoin."

"1000x for BHS is pretty simple to demonstrate. Don Durrett says that that it is common for miners to trade at a 30x cash-flow valuation in miner bull markets. This can be the case even for one-mine producers. Starcore International Mines, a one-mine producer in Mexico which is similar to Bayhorse, did actually trade at a 30x cash-flow valuation in the ’01 to ’11 miner bull market.

These calculations were done for a $20 million mcap and BHS is now trading at $30 million but even so they're not too far off:

It is generally agreed that Bayhorse can produce 1.3 million silver ounces per annum. At an AISC of $10, this means that Bayhorse could conceivably go 100x at $60 silver. In other words, a $1000 investment would become $100,000.

[1.3 million x 60 – 10 (50) = $65 million cash flow, x 30 = about a $2 billion market cap.)

Extrapolating from here is easy:

At $120 silver, Bayhorse can go 200x.

At $240 silver, Bayhorse can go 400x.

At $480 silver, Bayhorse can go 800x.

At $960 silver, Bayhorse can go 1,600x.

(This last figure means that a $1000 investment would turn into $1.6 million.)

In the '60s silver bull market, Coeur Mining did actually go 1000x when silver merely doubled.

(According to ShadowStats, $960 was actually the true inflation-adjusted ATH for silver, in 1980, so it's perfectly possible to see it again.)"

I'm on the BHS train, but these things don't happen overnight and you know it. 1.3moz of silver doesn't teleport from the ground onto pallets of 1000oz bars to be sold overnight.

The reality is that if silver explodes before BHS can prove production (and I believe they are producing but the market isn't taking notice), then they will lag behind. Their streaming deal with Ocean would probably be reaffirmed if the terms are good. It'd much rather see them reinvest the money into expanding the mine and exploring their other resource before paying dividends. But who knows, maybe cashflow will be so intense that they will have nowhere else to shove money into except back to shareholders. I'd like that.

But in the end, having physical on hand will be a good thing, but there may be opportunity costs...but it's comfy af. I don't think COMEX is defaulting this month, but it's very possible this year. We could still see big gains as they start to lose the ability to smash prices though. So line could go up before it moons. It could also crab for a bit. But just stack ounces, and don't fret day to day price. Silver is going to be a good investment with high inflation and a massive new demand for silver in green tech industry.

Rule #1 of investing and life in general:

Be suspicious of anyone that predicts something big will happen on a specific time/date. They are mostly liars and charlatans. Never in /biz/ did a dated prediction come true. No astrology predictions, no "comex default soon!" predictions, nothing. They were all wrong.

There is a reason why the Bible says that anyone that predicts when the Apocalypse is going to happen a sin. Ironic considering how tons of bible thumping Christians are busy doing crazy schizoid mathematics predicting Judgement Day in the name of Christ when God himself said what they're doing is a sin. Retards.

It's not so much a short squeeze as it is a run on the COMEX due to a complete tightening of supply of physical. It's not a two week affair. This is not GME. It's going to take a few delivery months before the COMEX will default most likely. When you have a massive global commodity supply chain, it takes time for the breaking to be felt throughout the entire thing. The first step was always cleaning out retail investor silver. It's up to the point now where industrial 5,000 bars are VERY hard to get and almost impossible to get immediately. Hence, the increasing number of futures contracts on the COMEX taking delivery of the physical bars. This is what will do it, but it may not be fully accomplished in one month. March will bleed them of a lot of metal, but it may take May or July to see force majeure.

>Premiums will go up, not the spot price
Friend spot prices are a reflection of long standing premium. Go anywhere, you will find premium is about 24% above spot and has been hanging out there for a while, while everything else goes up in the market, thats not normal. Silver spot is purposefully being suppressed, yet every single retailer is selling 20% above spot.
The "normal price" you mention? yeah, thats going to be after silver adjusts. When no one can collect on silver, anymore, tahts going to drive premiums up, and they are going to stay there because everyone wants to collect on their silver, after a while, that spot is going to go up to match the premium.

The spot price of silver right now is akin to the usher of the titanic telling everyone that every thing is ok, the ship is not sinking, despite being half way in the water.

This year shit is going down and it will go far beyond silver, because of the bankster's inability to 'print' commodities like they print fiat or shitcoin protocols. summer 2021, the rotshchild rockefeller system is going to come crashing down...a historical once in a 600 year event type economic crash. Nobody will be spared. A global metals panic will happen except instead of toilet paper and bleach, fools with fiat are going to desperately search for gold and silver but will find nothing! By end of 2021 we will be in a global precious metal standard with the price of an ounce of silver being the reference global monetary unit for all international banking, pricing of currencies and foreign exchange! This is because the enormous need for industry to physically hoard their own stash of silver once COOMEX defaults will manifest into a global metals panic since silver is a monetary metal.

Can you imagine if leta say the trust funds, big banks and worst of all insurance companies lose confidence in fiat and put 5% of their valuation into silver? AXA alone putting 5% of its cash into silver could purchase all the bullion currently existing. Imagine if it was on a global scale, it would leak to all tangible assets, even wood or grains of sand at this point. It would entirely halt the production of everything and push price discovery of every commodity sky high.

This is why the system needs an exit strategy by creating a whole world of infinite fiat resources that can be created at will : the crypto-space. You can create 100 billions XRP and then tomorrow morning add 100000 billions of a new shitcoin and it wont impact the real world in the slightest. Just sponges to soak up fiat fed printed money!

Silver and gold are the canary in the coal mine because they historically have been money for the past 5000 years and have all the functions asked to be a perfect medium of exchange (fungible, divisible, portable, durable, uniform). GLOBAL METALS PANIC INCOMING!

Metals fulfil the first three well known characteristics of money: unit of account, store of value, and medium of exchange. This is why it is beneficial and prudent to have a portfolio or watchlist of companies from different countries. This is called jurisdictional diversification. Here is an example:

Dolly Varden (Canada), Bayhorse (USA), Vangold (Mexico), Boab Metals (Australia), Irving Resources (Japan), Tinka Resources (Peru), Silver Sands (Argentina), Silvercorp Metals (China), Silver Bear (Russia), Adriatic Metals (Serbia), Kingsgate Consolidated (Chile)

There is no way that all of these countries could nationalize at the same time. If your portfolio has exposure to at least four or five jurisdictions, and you've done diligence on companies in a few other countries, you're going to be fine even if the slim chance of nationalization comes true in one or two countries.

>every lcs and pawn shop is completely dry
>since mid January
>the 2 silver only stores are completely empty, to the point where the owners don't even open them up anymore since no one is selling
>not even a mercury dime or roosevelt is available
All you dirty zoomers need to realize, this is the worst I've ever seen. Y2k scare, Aztec apocalypse, start of covid, even during the run in the 80s it wasn't this bad. I have no clue how it will turn out, but at least it's a memorable event. I do live in the south, so maybe everyone just went crazy all at once.
