It is nowhere near the same. 2017 biz was a constant stream of icos you couldn't even keep up with it. People were sending 1000s of dollars to literal ponzi schemes. For every CAKE there would have been 10 others. Most of the biz coins this time around have actually been good projects for the most part eg ADA, Avax, grt

I myself have no choice but to hold. There is 2 reasons for this.
1. It would be hard to write off a loss for taxes, because you cannot and reinvest in the same coins for 30 days. Which right now is a bad idea if the market shoots back to more than peak value, doubt it will but just in case it is better to let it bleed it a little more.
2. We have no idea which coin will bounce back faster. Could be one you hold a majority of even it is the hardest hit right now. So trying to re-setup your coins picks while still so unstable would be insane.

Gather more funds from other sources and buy more coin as if nothing happened. The idea is just keep increasing your stack #s. That may sound insane but the prices will all go back to normal again and you'll be back on track.
The more we do this the less likely we will be affected by the next time it does a correction because of a few large sources of holders and bots.
