this might be the last bullrun. the next cycle there will be actual digital fiat currencies issued by sovereign governments. everyone who bought into bitcoin just because it's "money on da computah" will have no reason to be bullish anymore.
no one gives a fuck about decentralization.

>implying it won’t be subject to the same hyperinflation as regular fiat
It solves literally nothing.

inflation is another boogeyman that midwits like to pretend to care about but doesn't actually matter in the real world. poor people have no purchasing power to lose; their wages go up with inflation. rich people own assets which also go up with inflation.

bitcoin had a higher inflation rate than the USD for most of it's history.

one of the biggest problems historically with inflation was the paper money became unusable/firewood, but digital currency solves that.

government can try all they want, unless theyre bringing in strict laws surrounding buying and selling, (which they dont seem to be able to cos theyre all boomers and dont get it) nothing will change an Fiat currencies issued by governments will be the shittest of shitcoins.

fiat is already digital, and govts have no incentive to use distributed ledgers (they need control)

> everyone who bought into bitcoin just because it's "money on da computah" will have no reason to be bullish anymore.
But you know who will be bullish? All the institutions who realise bitcoin is "gold on da computah" and add bitcoin to their balance sheets. We'll also see more bitcoin bank charters, banks which issue tokens fully backed by bitcoin reserves.

>no one gives a fuck about decentralization.
youre saying this at the time when its become extremely fashionable for institutions to buy bitcoin, where they no longer see it as an experiment but as a good diversification option. Also tell that to the tens of millions who use btc as a means of remittance/acquiring dollars in countries with extremely high inflation rates. dApps, Defi, Web 3.0? who gives a fuck, all the current projects wont survive. Decentralisation of currency though, thats what people give a fuck about.
