ETH was a dumbass buy, bro. Gas fees are out of control. The network has terminal scalability issues and there won't be a fix for it for a least a couple years, likely more than a couple. Likely it will be 5 years until layer 2 is fully rolled out and even then it won't fix the problems, possibly.

That is why I am all in on Cardano, personally. There are other options out there too.

Well let me rephrase. It was a dumbass buy "in my opinion". I could be wrong, man.

I seriously truly believe in 2 years ETH will be worthless. So many better options coming along and coming up in the world. Why is ETH even going to exist once Cardano supports smart contracts? I'm just not even seeing why that entire network would continue to exist, truly.

Yawn... EIP 1559 will fix this. If the miners refuse to play nice they’ll be on their own ETC2 fork. Vitalik and others aren’t going to let their vision die because of greedy fucks.

Miners knew POS was the eventuality and are lucky 2.0 has been delayed for as long as it has been. They’re just pulling nonsense because their golden goose will be cooked.

They’re bluffing anyhow, they know damn well SOMEONE will still mine ETH despite the EIP, because earning it is still profitable and will be even more so with a lower pool size.

That or more crosschain, parachain, and L2 zkRollups will take over similar to Loopring. People and markets adapt.

Well it was working great until it reached critical mass. Now too many people are using it so the network is cracking. It's built upon a poor design is the problem. It's more of a prototype for DeFi than an actual viable DeFi platform.
That is why so many people are excited about Cardano. That is why I am all in on Cardano. Cardano is designed to circumvent those issues.

Also Cardano is now on the verge or releasing their support for smart contracts, and I think once that happens ETH will just vanish into the wind because why would ANYONE use ETH once there are smart contracts on Cardano?

EIP 1559 is the bggest, and dumbest, cope in crypto. Miners WILL reject this shit and dump on the market if forced through, wrecking investor confidence. Unironically stay the hell away from this mess of you have any brain cells.

Just like NEO totally usurped ETH, right? And every DeFi platform aside maybe Reef is on ETH, so what does that tell you?

Devs are going to migrate to another chain and go through the programming and audit process all over again? Hah!

Why is it that every one of these always ends up creating an ETH bridge to stay relevant?

ETH killers of new will be the same as the ones of old. There are many solutions available that don’t involve moving off ETH, including L2 support similar to SNX minting and staking.

I own Cardano. My ENTIRE portfolio is in Cardano. So for you to call my belief in it FUD or whatever bullshit is just stupid. Obviously I believe in it enough to put my whole fucking portfolio in it.
Even you admit nothing I said about ETH is wrong though, so whatever.
>>29451735
Actually Cardano has explicitly made it super easy to transpose dapps from one blockchain to theirs. And also yeah that is exactly what most dapps do. Most dapps write their programs for any platform that can support them. You can use Graph, for example, on pretty much any platform that supports smart contracts.

Do what you want, I don't care. I just believe in it.
To tell you the truth, I don't really want people buying for speculative purposes and pumping it up. I want people buying it because they need ADAs to run DeFi transactions. And maybe because they want to load up now before smart contract support starts so the ADAs are super cheap

I mean because it causes a bubble when people do that. As it stands now I pretty much know that the value of ADA is solid and not speculative. I hate bubbles.

I believe it's gonna totally eclipse ETH and bury it. IDK how I can realistically be argued that I am wrong. I don't see anyone really doing that. They can coexist. Again, when Blockbuster fell, it wasn’t just one company that took its place. Netflix, redbox(temporarily), Hulu, and prime all stepped. ETH is blockbuster. DOT, ADA, BNB are the faster cheaper streaming services. Not sure who Redbox is in this analogy however
