Also whatever this is the syntax he clarifies suggests the work isn't finished.

This would support the theory that they're just waiting for the right moment for some reason. So we're stuck in fucking limbo.

The point is don't be mad at Sergey that staking hasn't been released, be mad at Vitalik for building a shit network that is not enterprise ready.

I know I know. I swear Vitalik is an idiot savant.

No Sergey is legit also an incompetent. The problems with link lately are only partly due to network congestion.

Done in both cases means it is finished. "The work was done by X" means the work is finished. He is a retard, I hope he hasn't supplied much work..

We are done with staking but we are still waiting for the network to grow more. There isnt enough demand for staking as is.

Hasn't it been confirmed for some time now that they are mostly auditing and doing game theory as to what and how it will happen ?

Total lack of transparency, the oracle pullout, tsigs delay, deco/whitepaper 2 absence. Could also put the abritrum mess in there but that's obviously not the link team.

>> No.29428451

>>29427880
Yeah it's vague but i think he's trying to say 'the work that has been done was done by x" not' it's all done'. I wouldn't be surprised if it is all done though, staking is a simple mechanism, the game theory isn't as complex as some state. Having the need and network maturity isn't.

Well given the lack of transparency I find it difficult to judge whether or not the t-sigs delay and deco/whitepaper 2 absences are screw ups or have good, legitimate explanations. Oracle wouldn't really be possible without OCR/Arbitrum so that's not really surprising. Definitely frustrating but I think Chainlink's well into a period where they've made most of the progress they can and now they're reliant on other projects to fill in the gaps that fall outside of Chainlink's direct scope. Seems to me like they're ramping up the hiring of devs (we're hiring! grants!) and holding hackathons to accelerate the filling in of those gaps.

Really the only thing that's frustrating to me right now is that Chainlink is Atlas holding up Defi and everything else is pumping for its efforts.

I think you're right about oracle and the network wasn't ready for that traffic, but it's been extremely unprofessional to make announcements like that and the various other features and then provide no updates as the deadlines pass.

>> No.29429468

>>29429358
Did they set deadlines? I thought they had a policy against that. Kind of hard to untangle deadlines biz sets from the real thing.
