Hey Ampbros, are you not afraid that this project will just stagnate and die, despite all the activity?
In 2017 I went all in in a couple of promising lowcap projects. The devs are still active today, have working product, but the tokens are hovering in 5-10 sat range all these years.
Just look at top gainers this year - BNB (centralized ETH fork) and LINK (a literal meme). I'm afraid AMP may be too good for this world.

DOGE might not be a great example because it's powered by sheer meme value, where AMP not only has an actual use case but great fundamentals. I have a feeling it will be a slower project. Might not be this bullrun where full potential is met, but I could believe $10 by 2024. There isn't an insane demand for tokens until the network starts to pick up in activity.

That's my main issue with the value (only issue, mind you.) The valuation of the token is decided by how many are needed on the network as collateral. When we start getting higher volume/traffic on the network, the demand for the token will spike.

Adoption comes with more uses and retailers using it, as well as more people using the app. Only room for growth here.

>>29394972
Gemini has much lower fees. Make sure to use their trader option for limit orders so you aren't destroyed with fees. AMP has shown me that Gemini is a nice option for fiat onramp. Going to be using it a lot more in the future.

AMP is used as collateral for the Flexa transactions. As confidence in Flexa as a payment option grows, so does the value of AMP. It's like a feedback loop

>> No.29398679

Collateral payment system which allows instore purchases with Bitcoin, litecoin, zcash, etc immediately to the vendor while the transaction settles.

Think visa processing with fiat but streamlined and lower overhead fees for the customer and vendor.

People get to -conveniently- spend their crypto for goods and services, and both parties save more than the current credit system

>> No.29398748

>>29398209
Basic rundown-
Amp is a collateral token used to verify purchases between merchants and sellers VIA any crypto they want.
Amp crypto can be bought and staked to be used as collateral and a % of fees are returned to the pool as payment to stakers.
They have a working app called Flexa that already allows normies to buy with crypto at any NFC payment system. Amp is being implemented in shopify this summer.
Some dot connecting for you, shopify powers the tesla website. "You can buy a tesla with crypto". Amp is the collateral they are going to use to make those purchases happen quickly and at the rate both parties agreed to.
