That's a great way of describing it. You learn a lot but you have to remember to process it all post-trip. It certainly helped me reevaluate my perspective on life and what my actual priorities should be.

I've heard shrooms is similar although you're less in control of what happens and what it shows you.

It's like flying in a commercial airliner vs skydiving. DMT is jumping off into the deep end. You completely lose your sense of reality and experience alien worlds and encounter intelligent races. You are unable to move in the outside world while under its effects. It's over fast (5 minutes), but time dilation can make it feel like eternity.

Taking acid is like a moonshot of .01 to .10 to .25 and back to .10 for 6 hours. DMT is like shooting from .01 to $10 in one big green dildo. Until eventually settling back in at .05 in a matter of minutes.

Numerical value was the best example I could use to explain in laymen's terms. It's more comparable to mushrooms. My highest LSD dose was probably 300ug but my trips are usually really intense no matter the dose. I'm just sensitive I guess.
