>Speculative stock #bubbles ultimately see the gamblers take on too much debt. #MarginDebt popularity accelerates at peaks. At this point the market is dancing on a knife’s edge. Passive investing’s IQ drain, and #stonksgoup hype, add to the danger.

This meme is so parroted and popular even burry fell for it. Even though in the same sentence he talks about ARK active investing and crowd-investing being dangerous. The entire point of passive is for poor allocators to give up. It doesn't remove price discovery in any way and there are enough people out there setting the prices still. If anything he should join them and start hitting index move mistakes right away like everyone else for the free money. At most a dislocation of an index move lasts a few days.

the taiwanese aren't idiots, the Arizona plant is only producing 5nm for a reason. Cutting-edge will still be in Taiwan. The industry was built up largely to make them relevant and too vital to lose to China
I just think it's pointless to worry about a China invasion when Taiwan isn't a pushover like Crimea. Missiles are just the shit they're publicly disclosing for deterrance.
TSM is also a multinational company, they have fabs in mainland China as well. These are all just bullshit political stunts, and it's not like private/foreign companies can't co-exist in mainland China. It's just stupid to even consider it right now

You can consider China FUD when the political climate changes and Taiwan/TSM starts falling behind somehow. That's not likely right now given that their closest competitor Samsung is still doing shit yields on 5nm. I'd sooner bet on UMC (the other taiwanese semi company) catching up to TSM

Their earnings date is 3/15, which I am going to guess will cause the stock to pump followed by a dump when they report their earnings haven't really changed. My planw ould be:
>Sell covered call .5@7
>Sell stocks on high leading up to earnings
>It won't hit 7 because earnings report will be shit

Also the 500 major companies end up being owned not by retail shareholders, but by mutual funds. This is dangerous. Your shares of VTSAX don't mean you own a piece of any of those companies -- at all. Your shares only mean you own a piece of Vanguard (for example).

Jack Bogle warned about this danger before he died. What happens when all corporations that matter are owned by financial institutions such as Vanguard?

Same with selling the index during a panic. What happens then is the mutual funds must sell the underlying shares which affects the stock price of companies who happened to be in the index thereby leading to a cascading affect of unrelated companies going down. Flash ETF panic sales are another danger. Many companies who are doing well get swept up in the panic.

This is good for buyers though who analyze the fundamentals of each company (purchase shares at a discount).

Nuclear fusion techs?

I think the biggest potential you have right now is psychedelics, I just sold all my weed stocks because (while I think it has more to go) I think the biggest early gains are done and most of them are now overvalued by inexperienced meme investors that don't understand stock value compared to profits and debt.

The problem is that most of the big potential is private with angel investing from current big tech and independently super wealthy individuals.

Pay equality is not a thing here.
Company no longer cares about employees' wellbeing (although they'll say they do...proof please?)
Management is completely disconnected of what's going on in the lower layers.
So called flat-management is a joke - not real but they try to pass it as such
Slogans like "we set you up for success" are great sellers, but again, just air. Yes, you get a Manager that you can meet with every second week, but nothing happens when you flag things or asks for support...so what's the point?
No work life balance, forget it!
Take all you need holiday-policy....sure...super difficult to do that, haven't managed to take over 10 days total in over 2 years!

Advice to Management

Invest in your people, open your eyes, stop selling lies. Tell the truth, however harsh, people can take it. These are tough times, we get it, so stop selling the "we care about you and value our employees" and showing completely the oposite with your actions, it's just insulting. If you hire the best folks in the industry, don't treat them like morons.

CBP made their contract with Palantir a program of record mandating funding for it for the next 5 years.

they make tech the government is reliant on so they have no cash problems at all, the government will just give them more cash and modern monetary theory makes it so that their budget never needs to get trimmed either they can just print more cash if they have to and they will.

Many of the companies are Canadian, Brazil has an open and legal market, Mexico allows production and the fda has approved research in a big way. Oregon is legal, California is on the way to legality as is Washington. Many cities have decriminalized. Major universities in Europe and the United States have a good decade of very promising results relating to addiction treatment, ptsd, traumatic brain injury, end of life wellness, depression... and the safety results are showing 3x higher safety profile over marijuana. 2-3x more effective in addiction treatment than anything currently used in the market.
