>In this blog post, I’ll briefly demonstrate how a specific smart contract platform (Ethereum) can interoperate with Google Cloud (BigQuery) via confidential computing middleware (iExec). At a high level, Ethereum Dapps (i.e. smart contract applications) run tasks on iExec, which in turn retrieves data from BigQuery and the data is processed in some way. Any one of BigQuery’s public datasets can be accessed in a decentralized way, the data can then be processed by an iExec worker in a worker pool, and a smart contract can be updated with the result.
>With iExec, data can either be returned directly to a smart contract or uploaded online. In this demonstration, results from a BigQuery private dataset query are uploaded to IPFS and accessed by various JavaScript apps. Simply put, iExec is the only technology on Ethereum that currently allows anyone to directly communicate with BigQuery datasets in a personalized and decentralized way. This is just one use case of many for iExec but the opportunity to see if iExec and BigQuery could actually work together was too tempting to pass up. This demo runs on Goerli testnet and can be considered a minimum viable product.

Is RLC still a stablecoin or is it time to stop being a stablecoin? I suppose that's entirely up to Google to decide if they ever get off their fat asses and fund it.
