To be honest the constant partnership/integration announcements aren't really coming from Chainlink.
All they mean is that the current version of Chainlink is very popular.

And yes, the current version of Chainlink is extremely basic compared to what was laid out in the whitepaper, but even in this state it completely blows all other oracles completely out of the water.

Yes, that's what I mean when I say it does more than 99% of every other bullshit project. Despite Chainlink being so limited in scope to what was outlined in the white paper, it is still leaps and bounds above everything else in terms of what they've delivered to date. Not to mention other qualitative attributes like the team's professionalism is in their own category, they haven't really had any major missteps like you see from a "typical" crypto project where they tend to be run by absolute retards.

It's honestly been really shocking for me, it's really not that much of an exaggeration to see Chainlink has been outperformed by just about everything in the top 100. It really doesn't make any sense. Chainlink hasn't managed a 2x. In 2017 money eventually flowed into the top 10 and beyond and everything pumped pretty hard. That appears to have happened in 2021, but shockingly Chainlink has just been excluded from this. I know there's things like suppression that can explain some of this, but it's still insane.

I also remember feeling this exact same exasperation in the run-up to mainnet; I was getting completely demoralized when mainnet still wasn't announced 1.5 years after mainnet. But then suddenly there it was, out of the blue. And it was truly flawless.
