Based. You should probably take some fiat and hunt through bank rolls of coins for silver. Half dollars are probably your best bet.
I hunted boxes back in 2018, and found about a roll's worth of 90% silver Kennedy half dollars, and 3 rolls of 40% Kennedy halves. It takes $500 in fiat to do, and an account at at least 2 different banks (take them elsewhere to dump the clad), but you can definitely score silver coins for face value.

Don't be afraid to check any Coinstar machines when you pass them, either. They will always reject old 90% silver coins as well as tokens and foreign coins into a little cup at about knee height. You can easily pull junk silver that people just abandoned after trying a bunch of times (might also throw them away if there's a can next to it), or even simply leave without even knowing about that cup and come away with world coins (I've pulled foreign silver too) or even just some free change.

It won't be a fast or consistent thing for sure, but if you keep checking, you can score completely free junk silver. Great for helping your DCA. I do this myself, and I've come away with a little over $8 face value in junk silver.

This is how I would do it, that gold / platinum price is a rough guess but if your portfolio is like that you're good in case any asset moons. The only reason I would buy gold right now is that spot dropped under 1,800 and will almost surely go back up soon, but I agree. Silver and platinum are much more undervalued and you can really only stack gold right now if you're rich.
