DMI or direct movement index, tldr; you have a Di+ and Di- and ADX, the + shows the + trend, then - shows the - trend. + is up, - is down. It's based on prior fluctuations of the value.


If Di+ > Di- AND ADX>25, then u got a somewhat strong "up" trend likelihood.

Opposite for downtrend.
ADX is "how strong or how likely" that trend is.
